Solo $BTC Miner Wins $330K Block Reward After Renting Hash Power To Beat 3,050-to-1 Odds

A single $BTC miner earned 3.15 $BTC worth $330,386 for successfully mining block 899,826 on #CKpool.

The miner increased hash rate from 6.11 PH/s to 261 PH/s, likely through rented computational power.

At the current network difficulty, the solo miner faced approximately 1 in 3,050 odds of success.

The reward included $327,625 in block subsidy plus $2,761 in total transaction fees.

This marks the 300th #block solved using CKpool's solo mining software since its launch.

The miner operated with only one worker, suggesting hash rate rental rather than owned equipment.

$BTC total network hash rate reached 796 EH/s on June 5, making solo mining extremely challenging.

Previous solo mining successes include a miner who beat 1 in 1.3 million odds for $260,000 in rewards.

#CKpool developer Con Kolivas confirmed the account had been previously #mining with a much lower hash rate.
