Altcoins $AVAX, $HYPE, $WLD Surge as $BTC Sits Near Record High


$AVAX climbed 5.8% to $23.67 following news that FIFA will migrate its FIFA Collect NFT platform to a dedicated Avalanche layer-1 blockchain.


The announcement came during last week's London Avalanche Summit, marking a significant institutional adoption milestone for the network.


Despite recent gains, $AVAX remains down 83.7% from its 2021 all-time high, showing room for recovery if momentum continues building.


$WLD emerged as the week's biggest winner, jumping 27.2% to $1.38 after expanding access to American users through its World ID system rollout.


$HYPE set a new all-time high of $39.68, surging 50.4% over seven days amid massive leverage trading activity on the #Hyperliquid decentralized exchange.


The rally followed a high-profile trader's $1 billion $BTC bet on Hyperliquid's perp exchange, which generated significant attention despite closing at a loss.


Other #altcoins posted solid gains, with Bittensor up 6.4%, Optimism gaining 5.6%, and Arbitrum rising 4.7% as #altseason sentiment builds.


$BTC dominance currently sits at 61.12%, with analysts suggesting altcoin season could accelerate once dominance hits 70% and quantitative easing policies emerge.
