$SOL DEX PumpSwap Introduces 50% Revenue-Share for Token Creators


#PumpSwap, the Solana-based DEX connected to meme coin launchpad   #Pump.fun , has launched a revenue-sharing program allocating 50% of protocol fees to #token creators.


Eligible creators will receive 0.05% (5 basis points) in $SOL per transaction on their tokens.


Based on April's $11.2 billion trading volume, the platform could have distributed approximately $5.6 million to creators.


The program has faced criticism on social media, with users arguing it incentivizes #rugpulls and discourages community takeovers.


Critics claim the fee structure enables developers to earn passive income without maintaining their projects.
