$NEVA International Monetary Fund: Digital currencies should not become legal tender
The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) announced in a statement: In general, digital currencies should not be granted legal tender status. This statement states: Digital currency assets should not be converted into the legal tender in order to maintain monetary sovereignty and stability. The statement continued: Directors agreed that strict bans are not the first option, but targeted restrictions could be put in place to legitimize crypto risks.
