<p><a href="https://www.opencampus.xyz/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Open Campus</a>, known for its innovative approaches in decentralized education, has recently secured a significant grant from the Arbitrum Foundation. This grant will catalyze the development and launch of EDU Chain, the pioneering Layer 3 blockchain designed specifically for educational purposes.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>The collaboration aims not only to enhance the learning experience but also to integrate educational achievements directly onto the blockchain, promoting a seamless “Learn, Own, Earn” model that stands to revolutionize how educational content is accessed and valued.</p> 
<p>The primary focus of EDU Chain is to foster an expansive ecosystem where both learners and educators can interact with decentralized applications (dapps) tailored to educational activities. This initiative is expected to harness the power of blockchain to record academic milestones and innovate financial solutions within education.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>Open Campus is set to leverage its extensive network, consisting of over 60 educational and Web3 partners with a collective user base of 20 million learners. The involvement of these partners will be crucial in nurturing the ecosystem, by developing and deploying dapps on EDU Chain and thereby enriching the educational landscape.</p>

<p>This strategic technical choice underscores a commitment to providing a high-performance platform while maintaining alignment with Ethereum’s security protocols.
