Privacy coins like Monero (XMR) and Zcash (ZEC) enhance anonymity features, making it exceedingly difficult for investigators to trace transactions. Monero, known for its strong privacy protocols, and Zcash, offering optional privacy features, appeal to those seeking to conceal their financial activities. The symbiotic relationship between CEXs and OTC brokers highlights the ongoing challenge for law enforcement and regulatory bodies in curtailing crypto-native money laundering activities.
