<p>First, the sponsor submits a detailed proposal outlining the ETF’s structure and objectives.</p>
<p>Then, the SEC rigorously assesses investor protection, market integrity, and regulatory compliance. Finally, stakeholders can express opinions or concerns during the public comment period, which the SEC considers before making a decision.</p>
<p>Interestingly, there’s a prevailing belief that Ethereum ETF approval could pave the way for altcoin ETFs. BKCM CEO Brian Kelly even speculated that Solana might be the next candidate for an ETF. Rumors from Hong Kong suggest an issuer is preparing for a SOL ETF.</p>
