<p>Digital asset manager Hashdex has <a href="https://www.crypto-news-flash.com/nasdaq-files-application-hashdex-pursues-sec-approval-for-hybrid-ethereum-etf/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">filed an S-1 registration</a> statement for its new Crypto Index ETF, which will initially include only Bitcoin and Ethereum but may incorporate additional cryptocurrencies if approved by the SEC. <p>Previously, James Seyffart from Bloomberg and Bloomberg Intelligence shared in his tweet that Hashdex has filed an S-1 registration statement for a Crypto Index ETF, which will initially include Bitcoin and Ethereum, with the potential to add XRP, SOL, and other assets soon if approved by the SEC.</p>

<p>Earlier on June 24, the firm filed an S-1 registration statement for its Hashdex Nasdaq Crypto Index US ETF, which will track select cryptocurrencies based on the Nasdaq Crypto US Settlement Price Index—a benchmark that reflects the daily performance of a significant part of the digital asset market. In its filing, Hashdex stated:</p>

 <p>If any crypto asset other than Bitcoin and Ether becomes eligible for inclusion in the Index, the Sponsor will transition to a sample replication strategy, with only Bitcoin and Ether in the same proportions determined by the Index.</p>

<p>Reiterating earlier discussion, CNF <a href="https://www.crypto-news-flash.com/sec-stalls-hashdex-bitcoin-etf-and-grayscales-ether-futures-amid-38000-btc-surge/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">reported</a> that investors and market analysts are debating whether the current surge in Bitcoin’s price has already incorporated the expected effects of spot ETF approvals.</p>
<p>While some believe that this factor might already be “priced in,” the real test lies in the extent of investment inflows that such ETFs could attract upon approval. BTC is trading slightly down to <strong>$64,262</strong> after decreasing by <span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>2.25%</strong> </span>in the past day and <span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>0.65%</strong></span> in the past week.
