Crypto wallet provider Trust Wallet is warning Apple users about a potential zero-day exploit targeting iMessage.&nbsp;

The firm, citing “credible intel,” advises users to disable iMessage to protect against hackers seizing control of their phones. This exploit can affect iPhone users without any link clicks, posing a serious risk, especially for high-value account holders. 
CEO Eowyn Chen <a href="https://twitter.com/EowynChen/status/1779968264510050731" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" data-wpel-link="external">shared</a> a screenshot showing an asking price of $2 million for the alleged exploit. However, skepticism arose among industry experts, questioning the evidence provided by Trust Wallet. 
Despite skepticism, Trust Wallet’s alert gained significant attention, with over 1.2 million users viewing it within four hours. The firm clarified that their information came from their security team and partners who monitor threats regularly. 
This warning comes after Apple’s recent emergency security updates to fix iOS zero-day vulnerabilities exploited in attacks last month. iMessage has been targeted by hackers before, as noted by security researchers. 
According to cybersecurity firm Halborn, over 280 blockchain networks are vulnerable to zero-day exploits, potentially risking billions in cryptocurrency. Trust Wallet’s caution highlights the ongoing need for robust security measures in the digital realm.
