Spearheaded by NAPP's Director Dmitry Li, the newly minted regulations delineate foundational terminologies essential to the crypto mining ecosystem, including definitions for mining pools, national and foreign miners, and the electronic platforms vital for <a href="https://ultramining.com/en/ratings/">mining pool</a> operations, according to <a href="https://bits.media/vlasti-uzbekistana-utverdili-pravila-deyatelnosti-mayningovykh-pulov-/">Bits.media</a>. 
Key to these regulations is the establishment of an electronic platform, a sophisticated amalgam of information systems and <a href="https://ultramining.com/hardware/">hardware</a>-software complexes, facilitating miners' connectivity to the mining pool's electronic infrastructure. This platform is tasked with stringent prohibitions, including the ban on trading, exchanging cryptocurrencies, depositing unrelated assets into the pool's wallets, and engaging with anonymized virtual currencies like <a href="https://ultramining.com/ratings/monero/">Monero</a>. 
The entry into these mining pools is exclusively reserved for legal entities through a binding agreement. Prior to this engagement, both national (tax-resident entities authorized for mining in Uzbekistan) and foreign miners (individual or legal entity non-residents) are mandated to undergo an identification process. This involves furnishing wallet addresses intended for asset withdrawals, with the caveat that each participant is limited to a single account on the mining pool platform. 
An imperative component of these rules is the emphasis on participant transparency and accountability. All miners are required to be duly identified, providing wallet addresses to NAPP for fund withdrawals. In alignment with these transparency tenets, any participant information is readily accessible upon request, ensuring a layer of regulatory oversight and participant security. 
Revenue distribution among participants is constrained to the cryptocurrencies mined, directly transferred to the provided wallet addresses. Furthermore, the mining pools are authorized to levy commissions for their services, payable in cryptocurrencies, aligning their operational costs with the digital currency ecosystem. 
This regulatory framework arrives on the heels of NAPP's decision to increase the operational fees for cryptocurrency exchanges and exchangers, marking a concerted effort by Uzbekistani authorities to cultivate a regulated, transparent, and thriving cryptocurrency mining and trading environment.
