The Akash Solana migration official bridge status matters to every AKT holder, since Governance Proposal 346 passed on 2 November 2026. The migration still waits for its audits. This guide covers the vote, the 1:1 swap, unbonding, and the scam checks that keep funds safe.

What Is the Akash Solana Migration Official Bridge Status?

Before anyone moves a token, it helps to know what voters approved and where the bridge stands.

What Governance Proposal 346 Approved

Governance Proposal 346 ran on the Akashnet-2 chain from 26 October to 2 November 2026 and passed with about 97.27% of votes in favor. Turnout reached about 69.5% of the bonded stake, well above the 33.4% quorum. The vote lets Akash launch AKT as an SPL token on Solana after two audits. It also opens a one-way migration for two years. It sets no cutover date and does not move the marketplace.

Where the Bridge Stands Today

As of 5 November 2026, the Akash Solana migration official bridge status is pending, which means it is not live. News reports say the token and migration should arrive in two to three weeks once audits clear. Akash plans to share the date on its official channels. One analysis adds that a later vote must set bridge limits and turn on deposits. Until Akash confirms a launch, any site that claims to be the portal is unverified. The Akash Solana migration official bridge status only changes when Akash says so.

How Does the 1:1 AKT to SPL AKT Token Swap Work?

The swap is simple on paper, yet each rule holds a safety lesson for holders.

The One-Way Swap Rules

The portal swaps AKT for SPL AKT at a one-to-one ratio, so 1,000 AKT becomes 1,000 SPL AKT with the same ticker. The change cannot be undone, and there is no way back to AKT on akashnet-2. The network cannot fix a wrong wallet address or a fake site. That is why the Akash Solana migration official bridge status should be checked before every step.

What Happens to Total Supply

Migrated tokens leave the old chain, so the total supply stays the same and no new tokens are made.
At launch, SPL AKT should allow transfers and DEX trading only, with no staking or voting rights.

How to Claim SPL AKT After Launch

Once the portal opens, a holder connects a Solana wallet, picks an amount, and signs the move. Reports say a relayer will pay the Solana network fee, so SOL should not be needed. Launch notes should confirm this. The two-year window means nobody has to rush, and a slow check of each address beats a fast mistake.

Why Does Staked AKT Need a 21-Day Unbonding Period?

Staked tokens take a longer path, because Cosmos chains lock staked coins for a waiting period.

How Cosmos SDK Unbonding Works

Akash was built with the Cosmos SDK, so staked AKT enters a 21-day unbonding period when a holder unstakes. During that time the tokens earn no rewards and cannot be sent. For staked balances, the portal is said to start the wait by itself. It also claims unpaid rewards and queues the move to Solana in one step.
What to Do With AKT on Osmosis or Exchanges
AKT held on chains such as Osmosis must return to Akashnet-2 before it can use the portal. Tokens on exchanges follow the schedule that each exchange sets, so exchange users should read their platform notices.

When Will the Akash Marketplace and Providers Move to Solana?

Moving the token is only the first step, because the cloud marketplace follows a later timeline.

Active Token Migration Versus Marketplace Cutover

Token migration means swapping AKT for SPL AKT through the portal, and it can start after launch. Marketplace cutover means moving the Akash Marketplace, AkashML, and Homenode to Solana. It needs a separate vote to set the date. The plan calls for audits, a six-week provider test, and a 14-day community rehearsal first. Readers should treat the Akash Solana migration official bridge status as token news first and marketplace news second.

What Providers and Tenants Must Do

Providers must upgrade their software and sign up on Solana. Tenants can reuse their deployment files. Existing workloads get 90 days after cutover. Staking rewards on the old chain end at that switch and not at the vote.

How Can Holders Verify the Official Akash Bridge Portal?

Good checks work best as a short routine that holders repeat every time.

Bridge Verification Checklist

Akash has said that phishing is the top threat and that only one official portal domain will exist. A safe routine for checking the Akash Solana migration official bridge status looks like this:

Wait for the launch notice on official Akash channels before opening any link.

Compare the portal address letter by letter across two official sources.

Type the address by hand or use a saved bookmark instead of clicking ads.

Approve only the migration step, and never share a seed phrase.

Checking Security Audits

Proposal 346 requires two independent audits of the token and portal code, with reports due within 30 days. Holders should read the reports and confirm that the token address matches the portal. The Akash Solana migration official bridge status depends on those audits. One analysis calls the Solana upgrade key the biggest trust point. A time-locked multisig is worth looking for.

Which Phishing Scams Target Akash Migration Users?

Big moves attract scammers because users expect a new website.

Common Fake Portal Tricks

Fake pages often copy headlines about the Akash Solana migration official bridge status to look real. Typical traps include look-alike domains, paid search ads, fake support accounts, and posts that promise bonus airdrops. A page that asks for a seed phrase is a scam. So is a message that demands action within hours, since the real portal stays open for two years.

Why One-Way Bridges Leave No Room for Errors

A one-way bridge has no refund desk, so a transfer sent to a fake portal is usually gone for good. For that reason, the Akash Solana migration official bridge status is a safety question first and a speed question last.

Conclusion:

The vote has passed, the audits are pending, and the portal is not live yet, so patience is the best tool for now. The Akash Solana migration official bridge status should be confirmed only through official Akash channels, and the 1:1 swap is final once signed. Holders who track the Akash Solana migration official bridge status will spot fake portals much faster.
