How Does KuCoin Split 1.8M KOR Between Trading and Learning?
The KuCoin KOR Giveaway has two activities and three reward pools. Trading shares 1.4 million KOR through a Lucky Draw (280,000 KOR) and a Trading Carnival (1,120,000 KOR). Learn and Earn adds a separate 400,000 KOR pool.
KuCoin opened spot trading for Kor Protocol on November 4, 2026, and launched a 1.8 million KOR campaign alongside it.
The KuCoin KOR Giveaway pays for trading volume in one activity and for learning tasks in the other, so the rules differ sharply. Readers still comparing major crypto exchanges can use this breakdown to see how a listing campaign works.

The KuCoin KOR Giveaway is a reward campaign tied to a new token listing. KuCoin, a crypto exchange where people buy, sell, and trade digital assets, is handing out 1,800,000 KOR to qualified users to mark the launch.
Trading opened at 14:00 UTC on November 4, 2026, and the exact terms are in the official campaign announcement.
KOR is the token of Kor Protocol, a project built on Base. It keeps a record of who made a creative work, what the work is cleared for, and how its earnings are split.
Joining comes with a few firm conditions. KYC verification is required, and accounts linked to one identity count as a single participant.
Sub-accounts do not qualify, and market makers and institutional accounts are left out. Readers wondering why exchanges check identities can read how crypto regulation shapes trading platforms.

The two activities run on different dates and reward different actions. One pays for trading volume, the other for finishing tasks. Exchanges structure new coin listings in different ways, and this one splits rewards into three pools.

Nobody is promised a fixed amount. Payouts depend on volume, speed, or the rules below.

How Much Trading Volume Is Needed to Qualify for Each KOR Pool?

Users enroll once on the KOR GemSlot page, and both trading pools then open automatically. The Lucky Draw requires at least $250 in KOR spot trading volume.
The Trading Carnival requires at least $600 in KOR/USDT spot trading volume. Both thresholds are measured in dollar value, not token quantity.
KuCoin calculates trading volume by adding buy and sell amounts, then multiplying by the trade price. Both sides of a completed buy-and-sell cycle count toward volume.

How Is the Trading Carnival Reward Worked Out for Each User?

Each user’s reward is their share of all adjusted trading volume, applied to a pool of 1,120,000 KOR. Only after the $600 KOR/USDT bar is cleared do BTC/USDT and KCS/USDT trades also count toward that share. KuCoin publishes the formula:

Total volume = ((KOR/USDT volume × 2) + BTC/USDT volume + KCS/USDT volume) × boost multiplier

Reward = (user’s total volume ÷ all users’ total volume) × 1,120,000 KOR

Each user is capped at 33,300 KOR. As a made-up example, a 1% volume share would equal 11,200 KOR. The real share stays unknown until the campaign closes.
USDT is a token built to track the US dollar, and this guide on how stablecoins work covers the basics.

Can New Users Earn Double KOR Rewards in the Lucky Draw Pool?

Yes, but only in the Lucky Draw, and only when the conditions are met. A user who registers a new account during the campaign and completes full KYC receives 2× rewards. Inviting at least three new users who also register and finish KYC earns another 2×.
The two bonuses can stack, allowing eligible users to receive up to 4× Lucky Draw rewards. That depends on meeting both the new-user and referral conditions, so a new user alone does not automatically get 4×.
The Trading Carnival adds boosts for KCS loyalty tiers and GemSlot loyal users, but their size is not published.

What Does the 400,000 KOR Learn and Earn Pool Ask Users to Do?

Users finish learning content, take a quiz, and complete designated tasks about Kor Protocol. The window runs from 08:00 UTC on November 6 to 08:00 UTC on November 20, 2026, and rewards go out first come, first served.
The general Learn and Earn portal and the specific KOR learning page are not the same thing. When the announcement went live, the KOR page was marked as coming soon.
KuCoin has not yet shared the quiz questions, the number of tasks, or how much each user can earn, so this article leaves those out rather than guess. For background on the project itself, the official Kor Protocol website is the best place to look.

When Does KuCoin Pay Out the KOR Rewards After the Campaign?

The GemSlot campaign page states that eligible users receive trading rewards in their Funding Accounts within two business days after the campaign ends. The main announcement gives no separate payout date for Learn and Earn.

What Can Cost Participants Their KOR Rewards Under the Rules?

KuCoin can cancel eligibility for wash trading, bulk account registration, self-dealing, or market manipulation.
It can also change or cancel the activity without notice. Disputes must be filed within two months after the campaign ends.
Fake campaign pages also circulate around listings, so a guide on how to verify an exchange helps spot red flags.

Deposits for KOR run on the base network, as the listing announcement details show.

Sign up on KuCoin and finish KYC.

Enroll on the GemSlot page early, since trading closes at 14:00 UTC on November 11 (19:30 IST).

Spot trade KOR/USDT, then add BTC/USDT or KCS/USDT once $600 in KOR/USDT is reached.

Open the learning page from 08:00 UTC on November 6 (13:30 IST).

What Should Participants Watch Before Trading for KOR Rewards?

The published formula and the 33,300 KOR cap are the clearest parts of the KuCoin KOR Giveaway, since both show exactly how a reward is calculated.
The weak spot is that Carnival payouts depend on everyone else’s volume, so no one can know their share in advance.
Trading to qualify also brings fees and price risk, and any KOR received can change in value before it is sold or moved.
New listings often swing hard, and this explainer on what happens after a token listing shows why. The biggest unknowns remain the boost sizes and the Learn and Earn details.

Final Thoughts on the KuCoin KOR Giveaway and Its Key Deadlines

The KuCoin KOR Giveaway has two clear tracks. Trading rewards volume, and Learn and Earn rewards speed and task completion.
The thresholds, the UTC deadlines, and the eligibility rules deserve a check first.
Users who keep funds on the platform can also review exchange reserve data, which is a useful signal but not a guarantee of safety.
