Is the DOGE downtrend near its end? A trader says the daily MACD shows another bullish crossover forming under zero, and a 4-hour pin bar shows buyers stepping in.&nbsp;
In this <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/dogecoin-price-prediction-us-election-hype-doge-soaring" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Dogecoin Price Prediction</a>, DOGE trades at $0.07695, still inside a falling channel. Shorts took about 85% of the $2.86M liquidated in 24 hours. Neither signal is confirmed yet.

<h2 id="span-style-font-size-16px-span-why-is-dogecoin-price-up-today-span-span-span-span">Why is Dogecoin price up today?&nbsp;</h2>
The <a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dogecoin/" rel="noopener noreferrer">dogecoin price today</a> is up 4.90% to $0.07695&nbsp;in 24h, closely tracking a broad crypto market rally that added 4.95% to total market cap, primarily driven by a post-election relief rally as political uncertainty faded. It shows a strong beta correlation with Bitcoin, which rose 5.33%.
Reason: Macro-driven market rebound following U.S. midterm election results, which reduced near-term political uncertainty and spurred a risk-asset rally.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-dogecoin-news-macd-crossover-forming-under-zero-span-span">Dogecoin News: MACD Crossover Forming Under Zero</h2>
The daily MACD shows another bullish crossover forming under zero again, and that Dogecoin may be nearing the end of the downtrend.
MACD is a momentum indicator built from two moving averages. A bullish crossover is when its faster reading crosses above its slower one.&nbsp;
"Under zero" means MACD is still negative after a decline, and "forming" means it is not confirmed. Our chart does not show MACD, so CoinGabbar could not verify it.<img alt="Dogecoin News: MACD Crossover Forming Under Zero" src="https://d3iuzwoiyg9qa8.cloudfront.net/webadmin/storage/public/commonEditerImage/8KwHxDRNkoZabW87Z5XEBDae5BrPWm7DK7kZ5Ima.jpg" width="300" height="900" title="Dogecoin News: MACD Crossover Forming Under Zero">

<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-trader-s-4-hour-chart-plan-bullish-pin-bar-span-span">Trader's 4-Hour Chart Plan: Bullish Pin Bar</h2>
DOGE is "looking interesting on the 4H chart." He says a bullish pin bar is forming with a pretty long lower wick, and it looks like buyers are stepping in.
A pin bar is a candle with a small body and a long wick, showing the price was pushed back.
He lists what he is watching:
<ul>
 <li>Entry: a retest of the pin bar's body low</li>
 <li>Invalidation: a 4H close below the wick low</li>
 <li>Target: the previous swing high, as marked on the chart</li>
</ul>
Invalidation is the level where the setup fails. He adds that it could be the start of a reversal, but he wants follow-through from buyers first.<img alt="Trader 4-Hour Chart Plan: Bullish Pin Bar" src="https://d3iuzwoiyg9qa8.cloudfront.net/webadmin/storage/public/commonEditerImage/eSxlCXSDQEhsPsYibf7tsE4PIUK1J0Y0vvHkBirk.jpg" width="300" height="480" title="Trader 4-Hour Chart Plan: Bullish Pin Bar">&nbsp;

Shorts took about 85% of the $2.86M liquidated over 24 hours, which fits a bounce that forced short sellers out. About 90% of it came before the last 12 hours. Since then, longs took about 75% of a much smaller $290.35K.

$DOGE peaked near $0.10007 on September 22 and has since moved inside a falling channel, a pair of downward-sloping boundaries that hold price in a range.
Yesterday's green candle dipped near the $0.07203 level from our November 4 article, then closed back above $0.0770.&nbsp;
Today's small red candle opened at $0.07708 and printed $0.07695. Price sits above the $0.07638 level, but below the channel's <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/dogecoin-price-prediction-doge-hold-07203-after-long-squeeze" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">upper boundary</a>.
The candle was still open, so the close can change.&nbsp;

Bull case: A daily close above $0.08196, about 6.5% higher, would move $DOGE toward the channel's upper boundary and $0.08821.
Bear case: If $DOGE closes below $0.07638, less than 1% lower, the price could slide toward $0.07203, about 6% lower.

It would take a gain of about 30% from $0.07695. Any <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/dogecoin-price-prediction-doge-whale-all-time-high" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">DOGE price prediction</a> toward it needs more than an early reversal signal, since DOGE must first leave the channel and clear $0.08196 and $0.08821.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-dogecoin-price-prediction-analyst-view-span-span">Dogecoin Price Prediction: Analyst View</h2>
Two signals point to a possible bottom, but neither is confirmed. The level to watch is $0.07638. A daily close below it would open $0.07203, while a close above $0.08196 would be the first <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/dogecoin-price-prediction-return-zone-changed-everything" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">real sign of strength</a>.
