Will DOGE lose $0.07203? It is close. Price is $0.07335, down 1% today, and today's low of $0.07230 came within 0.4% of that level. Longs took about 91% of the $3.87M liquidated in 24 hours.
A trader's weekly-chart post says to "respect the trend". In this Dogecoin Price Prediction, the daily trend has pointed down since September 22.

Why is Dogecoin price down today?

Dogecoin is down 1% to $0.07335 in the past 24h, underperforming a slightly negative broader market. The move appears primarily driven by a risk-off drag from institutional Bitcoin ETF outflows and U.S. election uncertainty, with no clear, direct catalyst for DOGE itself.
Primary reason: Broader market risk-off sentiment, fueled by two consecutive days of heavy U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF outflows ($1.04 billion total) and pre-election hedging.
Secondary reasons: Indirect pressure from news of Nasdaq delisting "House of Doge Inc.," a separate company holding Dogecoin ETF shares, which may have contributed to negative sentiment.

Do US Midterm Results Matter for DOGE?

The US midterm elections were held on November 3, 2026. Voters chose all 435 House seats and 35 Senate seats, which decides how easily Congress can pass crypto bills. The presidency was not on the ballot.
Traders watch this because the CLARITY Act, a bill that would set market rules for digital assets, failed to clear the Senate in September. A Congress that backs the administration’s agenda could be read as supportive for crypto.
Before the vote, prediction markets showed Democrats ahead, which that article says could make crypto-friendly rules harder to pass. History is mixed too: Bitcoin fell after the last four midterms, though the analyst says that does not prove the vote caused it.
DOGE has no direct link to any bill, so any move would come through broader crypto sentiment.

How DOGE Could be Affected by US Midterm Results

The outcome of the 2026 US midterm election has changed the political balance in Washington. Democrats seized control of the Senate and are inching toward a majority in the House, although a few House races are still too close to call.
This result could impact expectations of US policy and market sentiment but does not guarantee a Dogecoin rally. Still, DOGE traders would be looking for stronger buying volume and a confirmed technical breakout.

A liquidation happens when an exchange force-closes a leveraged trade because the trader can no longer cover losses. Longs bet on a rise, and shorts bet on a fall.

Longs took about 91% of the $3.87M liquidated over 24 hours and about 99% of the 12-hour total. About 89% of the 24-hour total came in the last 12 hours, which fits today's drop.
That is about 1.7 times the $2.23M in our November 3 article. The volume data was not shown.

Yesterday's candle closed at $0.07521, a gain of about 1.3% from our November 3 article. It finished just above the old $0.07505 support. Today's candle opened there, fell to $0.07230 and printed $0.07335. It was still open, so the close can change.
The chart highlights the zone from $0.07638 down to $0.07203. $DOGE has now tested the area near $0.0722 twice in a week, at the October 30 wick low and today's low.
An EMA, or exponential moving average, weights recent prices more heavily. Price is under both the 20 EMA at $0.07815 and the 50 EMA at $0.08177.

Bull case: A daily close above $0.07638, about 4% higher, would put $0.08196 in view, about 12% above today's price.
Bear case: If $DOGE closes below $0.07203, about 2% lower, the price could slide about 7% toward $0.06839.

It would take a gain of about 36% from $0.07335. Any DOGE price prediction toward that level needs more than a chart post, since $DOGE must leave the falling channel and clear $0.08196 and $0.08821 first.

Dogecoin Price Prediction: Expert View

The daily trend is still down, and the price is under both EMAs. The long liquidations fit today's fall, and the area near $0.0722 is now under repeat pressure.
The level to watch is $0.07203. A daily close below it would open $0.06839, while a close above $0.07638 would be the first real sign of strength.
