Sui has announced plans to introduce USDC stablecoin payments through Samsung Wallet, making digital dollar transactions available to eligible Galaxy device users in the United States starting next month. This integration aims to make everyday use of stablecoins more accessible for mainstream mobile users by combining Sui’s blockchain technology with the popular Samsung Wallet application.

USDC Coming to Samsung Wallet with Sui Integration

USDC, a leading dollar-pegged stablecoin issued by Circle, will soon be available for payment and transfers on Samsung Wallet for U.S. Galaxy users, according to Sui. This move will allow users to manage USDC transactions without requiring prior experience with cryptocurrency wallets or dealing with complex blockchain interfaces.

The USDC support is enabled by Sui’s blockchain infrastructure, designed for high-speed and cost-efficient transactions. This integration is expected to simplify the process of using stablecoins for everyday purchases and fund transfers directly from Samsung smartphones.

By using Sui’s gasless stablecoin transfers, users can send USDC without holding SUI to cover transaction fees, further lowering the barrier to entry for digital asset adoption on Galaxy devices.

Sui reported that up to 82 million compatible Galaxy devices in the United States could access these new features as the rollout proceeds. Initially, only USDC transactions will be supported through Samsung Wallet; SUI, the native token of the Sui blockchain, will not be immediately available for payment or transfer within this integration.

SUI Price Eyes Key Technical Levels amid Ecosystem Expansion

Despite the positive news for its ecosystem, SUI’s price remains under pressure. Currently, SUI trades at $0.8873, with several technical support and resistance levels identified by cryptocurrency analyst Giannis Andreou for possible recovery phases.

Andreou points to $0.65-$0.75 as a critical support zone. A price drop below this range could increase downward pressure, while holding above it is necessary for buyers hoping to initiate a recovery. The region between $0.85 and $0.95 serves as a pivot area, making current price action significant for momentum in either direction.

For a confirmed bullish reversal, Andreou suggests that weekly closes above $1.20-$1.35 would be needed. Beyond these levels, resistance is expected in the $1.80-$2.10, $3.20-$3.70, and $4.30-$5.35 ranges. Should SUI push through all these barriers, a move towards $7 may be feasible in the longer term.

Andreou estimates that reaching the $7 target would represent a theoretical gain of 688.91% from current levels. However, he cautions that each resistance range must be overcome sequentially before such an increase is possible. Continued adoption of USDC payments on Samsung Wallet, technical price strength, and holding support zones are all seen as prerequisites for upward movement in SUI’s valuation.

The outlook for SUI remains dependent on both broader stablecoin adoption and improvements in the weekly price structure, with the $7 scenario hinging on successful breakthroughs of multiple resistance areas.

As Sui’s integration with Samsung Wallet rolls out, market participants are monitoring whether this development can drive increased SUI use and help stabilize the price amid continuing volatility in the crypto sector.
