Is a DOGE bull run coming? One trader says it is only a matter of when. The chart says DOGE must first hold $0.07203. Price is $0.07432, under the old $0.07505 support and under both EMAs, and longs took about 98% of the $2.23M liquidated in 24 hours.
In this Dogecoin Price Prediction, a trader's long-term channel claim meets a short-term squeeze on longs.

Why is DOGE’s price down today?

The dogecoin price today is down 2% to $0.07432 in 24 hours, closely tracking a broader market sell-off primarily driven by post-hack risk aversion and institutional outflows. It shows a strong correlation (83.8%) with the S&P 500, indicating a macro-driven move.
Primary reason: Broader crypto market weakness, fueled by Binance hack fallout and spot ETF outflows.
Secondary reasons: Sector rotation away from large-cap meme coins and a confirmed technical breakdown.

The DOGE monthly chart shows Dogecoin has respected these channels since day one. It adds that the next massive bull run is not a question of if, but of when.

DOGE declined after the buying of a large short position, which is a bet on a fall. It says a significant volume of long positions was then liquidated on Bybit, and that the short position still exists.
The post gives no size, wallet or date. The Coinglass data below has no exchange breakdown, so CoinGabbar could not confirm the Bybit detail.

A liquidation happens when an exchange force-closes a leveraged trade because the trader can no longer cover losses. Longs bet on a rise, and shorts bet on a fall.

Longs took about 98% of the $2.23M liquidated over 24 hours, and about 83% of that total came in the last 12 hours. That is about 2.7 times the $839.03K in our November 2 article.

DOGE has moved lower inside a falling channel, a pair of downward-sloping boundaries that hold price in a range.
Today's candle opened at $0.07423, ranged from $0.07377 to $0.07461 and printed $0.07432. It was still open, so the close can change.
The chart highlights the zone from $0.07638 down to $0.07203. That lower mark is close to the $0.0722 wick low from October 30.
An EMA, or exponential moving average, weights recent prices more heavily. Price is under both the 20 EMA at $0.07857 and the 50 EMA at $0.08208.

Bull case: A daily close back above $0.07638, about 3% higher, would put $0.08196 in view, about 10% above today's price.
Bear case: If DOGE closes below $0.07203, about 3% lower, the price could slide about 8% toward $0.06839.

It would take a gain of about 35% from $0.07432. Any Dogecoin price forecast toward that level needs more than a channel claim.

The old $0.07505 support has broken, and the price is still inside the falling channel. The long squeeze fits that move.
The level to watch is $0.07203. A daily close below it would open $0.06839, while a close above $0.07638 would be the first real sign of strength.
