<p>Following reports of the <a href="https://cryptopotato.com/this-is-what-binance-has-done-following-6-3b-hack/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">$6.3 billion hack</a>, Binance CEO Richard Teng posted directly on X addressing the situation. The exchange's official account followed with its own <a href="https://x.com/binance/status/2116089661408108712" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">statement on X</a>, signaling a coordinated public communications effort.</p>
<p>Teng's post, published via <a href="https://x.com/_RichardTeng/status/2116072080525656150" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">his official X account</a>, represents the exchange's highest-level acknowledgment of the reported incident. Binance has a prior record of coordinating with other exchanges on asset freezes; the platform previously worked with Huobi to <a href="https://www.coinlive.me/binance-bstocks-collateral-24-7-october-24/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">freeze $1.4 million tied to the Harmony hackers</a>.</p>
