A X post says DOGE is locked in and ready for liftoff on the monthly chart. Is it?. DOGE dropped to $0.07220 and bounced, but it is still inside a falling channel.
The drop was a flush, a sharp fall that forces leveraged traders out, with $18.55M liquidated in 24 hours. This Dogecoin Price Prediction covers the claim, the liquidations and a step-by-step chart read.

Why is the DOGE price down today?

The dogecoin price today is down 3% to $0.07644 in 24 hours, closely tracking a broader market selloff primarily driven by a major security breach at Binance. The move amplified existing bearish pressure from leveraged long liquidations and a breakdown below key technical support.
Primary reason: Market-wide risk aversion triggered by a massive hack on Binance, estimated at $5.91 billion, spooked investors and dragged down all major cryptocurrencies.
Secondary reasons: Cascading long liquidations added selling pressure, while a technical breakdown below the 50-day simple moving average accelerated the decline.

DOGE monthly chart: the pattern is repeating, all key signals are in, and DOGE is locked in and ready for liftoff. The post names no pattern, level or date, and a daily chart cannot show a monthly signal.
Market Backdrop: Binance HACK Incident

Binance paused withdrawals on October 29 after what it called a security incident, with an estimated $6.3 billion impact, per statements. Bitcoin fell. The liquidation spike below fits that backdrop.

A liquidation happens when an exchange force-closes a leveraged trade because the trader can no longer cover losses. Longs bet on a rise, and shorts bet on a fall.

Longs took about 69% of the $18.55M liquidated over 24 hours. Most of it came in the last 12 hours, which fits a sharp drop. In the last hour, shorts took nearly all of the small $5.82K total, which fits the bounce.

DOGE peaked near $0.10007 on September 22. It has since moved lower inside a falling channel, a pair of downward-sloping boundaries that hold price in a range.
Today's candle opened there and dropped to $0.07220 near the channel's lower boundary, then recovered to $0.07644. The long lower wick shows buyers stepped in, and the price is back above the $0.07505 level.
The key factor is a strong daily close, as this would confirm a bullish market structure. The current candle is forming a bullish hammer, characterized by a long lower wick (showing buyers absorbing selling pressure) and a small body near the high.
If DOGE closes strongly near the highs of the candle, we can expect bullish continuation in November. A breakout above the channel resistance would add a second layer of confirmation, strengthening the bullish thesis.

Bull case: A daily close above $0.08196, about 7% higher, would move $DOGE toward the channel's upper boundary and $0.09008.
Bear case: If $DOGE closes below $0.07505, about 2% lower, the price could slide toward $0.07001, about 8% lower.

Dogecoin Price Prediction: Can Dogecoin Reach $0.10007?

It would take a gain of about 31% from $0.07644. Any DOGE Forecast toward that level needs more than a monthly-chart claim, since $DOGE must leave the channel and clear $0.08196 and $0.09008 first.

Dogecoin Price Prediction: CoinGabbar Expert Analysis

The bounce from $0.07220 is a good start, but one candle does not end a falling channel. $DOGE has not yet closed above the channel's upper boundary, so the liftoff claim has no support on this chart.
The level to watch is $0.07505. A daily close below it would open $0.07001, while a close above $0.08196 would be the first real sign of strength. Headlines about the Binance incident can still swing the whole market.
