HONG KONG – October 29, 2026 – Today, October 29, 2026, The University of Hong Kong (HKU) successfully hosted its ground-breaking Agentic AI Workshop. This hands-on, immersive session was the first of its kind at HKU, bringing students face-to-face with the future of autonomous AI and Web3 frameworks.
The workshop was led by Vaibhavv Ali (Vali), an international tech influencer, Web3 strategist, and Growth Lead at Minds by Animoca Brands. Agentic AI: Hands-on for Modern Business
The core of the workshop focused on how autonomous agents can accelerate operations for modern entrepreneurs, founders, and business leaders. Vali walked participants through real-world applications of agents across early-stage capital raising, entrepreneurship, and day-to-day business automation.
Students worked in dynamic, pre-assigned teams, collaborating directly with specialized AI tools to build core business assets, including:
– Brand visual identity and logo generation workflows – Pitch deck outlines and structural slide framing – Data room setups and preliminary information request forms – Investment memo creation tailored for investor outreach
The session concluded with team presentations, where students showcased their AI-built assets, followed by direct feedback from Vali and an interactive Q&A exploring where agentic technology is heading next.

“Agentic AI is fundamentally changing how fast an idea can move from concept to execution. Working alongside Dr. Dalal AlGhawas and Prof. Jetty Lee at HKU on this workshop shows just how quickly students can master autonomous agent workflows when given hands-on experience with real business challenges.”

Prof. Jetty Lee said:

“Universities have an important role in helping students understand how emerging technologies can be applied responsibly in the workplace. The Agentic AI Workshop at HKU gives our students an opportunity to explore agentic AI through practical exercises and consider how it may support new approaches to business and entrepreneurship.”

Dr. Dalal AlGhawas said:

“Students benefit from seeing how new technologies apply to real business needs. By working with AI agents on tasks such as research, planning, and preparing materials, participants can explore both the opportunities and the limitations of these tools. I’m pleased to help bring this practical perspective into the classroom.”
