Aptos (APT) is trading at $0.666107 on October 29, 2026, a decline of 3.81% over the past 24 hours. The move puts APT below the $0.70 threshold that had acted as near-term support, with 24-hour spot volume coming in at $60 million across major exchanges.

APT Price Today: How Far Has Aptos Fallen?

APT has slipped to $0.666107 as of October 29, marking a 3.81% drawdown in the past 24 hours. The token is trading well below its all-time high, and today's move deepens losses for holders who entered at higher price levels. For related coverage, see Best Meme Coins with 50x–100x Potential in 2026.

Reported 24-hour trading volume stands at $60 million, though on-chain spot volume recorded separately shows just $7.0 million, suggesting a significant portion of reported volume may be concentrated on a small number of venues. Traders should weigh that discrepancy when assessing the strength or weakness of today's selling pressure.

The derivatives picture is less alarming than the spot price suggests. The funding rate for APT perpetuals sits at 0.0021%, a neutral reading that indicates neither a strong long-dominated nor short-dominated positioning. An orderbook bid/ask ratio of 1.29 reflects a market that is roughly balanced, with only a slight tilt toward buy-side orders.

What Is Driving the Aptos Sell-Off?

No single confirmed Aptos-specific catalyst has been verified for today's decline. The research phase was unable to surface a dated announcement, ecosystem incident, or governance event that directly coincides with the move. Absent a confirmed trigger, the sell-off is best understood through the lens of market structure rather than project-specific news.

One structural factor worth noting is the broader context around Aptos ecosystem developments. Bitwise's pending SEC application for a spot APT ETF has been a positive narrative for the token in recent months, but regulatory timelines remain uncertain and do not provide short-term price support on their own. Similarly, the launch of the USD1 stablecoin on the Aptos blockchain expanded the network's DeFi footprint, though stablecoin deployments rarely act as immediate price catalysts for the native token.

Broader market conditions may also be weighing on APT. Macro-sensitive assets across crypto have faced pressure in line with warnings around Bitcoin ahead of Federal Reserve meetings, and APT has historically shown correlation with wider risk-off moves. Until a distinct Aptos-specific driver is confirmed, the current decline appears to reflect sector-wide caution rather than a project-level event.

Token supply dynamics are a standing watch item for APT. Aptos launched with a structured vesting schedule for early investors and contributors, and periodic unlock windows have at times coincided with price pressure. No specific unlock event for October 29 has been verified in the available data, but traders monitoring APT should track the on-chain supply schedule for near-term release dates.

On the technical side, a question has lingered around Aptos' post-quantum signature implementation, which has not been formally confirmed by the team. Protocol-level uncertainty of this kind can weigh on institutional sentiment even without immediate security implications.

Key APT Levels and Signals to Watch Next

With APT at $0.666107, the token is testing territory that has historically attracted renewed interest from buyers, but a continued lack of volume conviction would undermine any technical bounce. The $0.65 area represents the next meaningful level to watch on the downside; a sustained close below it would signal further distribution.

On the upside, reclaiming $0.70 on meaningful volume would be the first signal that selling pressure is easing. The neutral funding rate at 0.0021% means a short squeeze is not imminent, but it also means leveraged longs are not heavily extended, reducing the risk of a sharp cascade lower driven by liquidations.

Traders should monitor CEX inflow data for APT over the next 24 to 48 hours. A sustained increase in tokens moving to exchange wallets would suggest continued distribution pressure. Conversely, net outflows from exchanges would indicate accumulation and could precede a stabilization in price.

Key takeaways:

APT is down 3.81% over 24 hours, trading at $0.666107 as of October 29, 2026.

No single verified Aptos-specific catalyst has been confirmed; the decline aligns with broader market caution.

The $0.65 support level and exchange inflow trends are the primary signals to watch for the next directional move.
