Why Is Fetch.ai (FET) Up Today?
Fetch.ai (FET) is up about 1.3% in 24 hours, near $0.18, according to CoinMarketCap pages read around 07:15 UTC in October 2026.
The move is small and trails NEAR, which gained about 6.5% on the same source. No Fetch.ai-specific catalyst turned up, so the cause is not confirmed, and see the latest AI crypto token.

Method: all rows come from CoinMarketCap, which shows no update time, so they are close in time but not identical.
I could not retrieve Render or Bittensor (TAO) figures, so the table is incomplete. Other trackers can differ, and one cross-check showed Fetch.ai near $0.184.
For history,a report listed $0.1769 in October, which makes the four-day gain about 1.6%.

Did the Fed Decision Affect FET?

The Fed held its range at 3.75% to 4.00% in October, with Lisa Cook and Beth Hammack dissenting in favor of a hike. The official wording is in the Fed's October statement, and the FOMC calendar lists later meetings.
Crypto rose lightly that evening, with Ether up about 0.7% and Solana about 1.3%. That timing is a coincidence until shown otherwise, because the Fed statement does not say anything about the token.

Are AI Tokens Rallying Together?

A rotation means money moving from one part of crypto into another.AI crypto tokens such as FET, NEAR, Render, and Bittensor's TAO often move as a group when traders favor the AI theme.
Today's numbers give mixed evidence. FET beat Bitcoin by under one percentage point, while NEAR beat it by almost six.
If a rotation were driving the group, FET would usually keep closer pace with NEAR. A single peer cannot settle the question, and TAO and Render are missing.
What would confirm a rotation: TAO and Render also rising, with higher volume across the group. What would weaken it: peers flat or falling while NEAR moves on its own news.
Earlier episodes show the pattern. On September 18, AI tokens gained about 9.4% and FET about 11.7%, per a CoinMarketCap story with an AI-generated disclaimer. In March, it related reporttied a rise to AI token rotation and falling exchange reserves.

Fetch.ai News: Is There a Project-Specific Catalyst?

Three places were checked on October 29. TheFetch.ai website showed its newest dated post from January 15, 2026, about FetchCoder V2.
CoinMarketCap's page gave no reason for the move. Fetch.ai's social channels and exchange announcements were not checked, so the absence of news is not proof.
The token is now tied to the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance, which includes-Fetch.ai and SingularityNET.
Trackers list it under the alliance name, but the ticker is still Fetch A March 2026 report put ASI:Chain's mainnet between late 2026 and early 2027, and I could not confirm those dates from an official page.

FET Price Levels and Market Risks

A September CoinMarketCap story cited support near $0.148 to $0.150 and resistance near $0.188 to $0.190, taken from unverified posts on X with no stated timeframe or exchange. Treat them as third-party estimates. Today's price sits between them, nearer the top.

Small size: a market cap near $430 million means big swings are normal

Fast reversals: a rotation can end as quickly as it starts

Macro risk: September inflation was 3.7%, and a December hike remains open

Project risk: roadmap dates and token merger plans can change

Scams are another risk. Hype around a hot theme can attract fake giveaways and phishing links, so stick to official project channels. This guide onAI Crypto Scams looks at the problem more closely.

Next Checks for Fetch.ai Traders

The market reaction to Amazon and Intel earnings later in October

TAO and Render move against NEAR to test the rotation idea

Fetch.ai's own channels for new announcements

December rate signals and the next inflation report

Conclusion

Fetch-ai is up modestly, and the data does not show a clear single cause. A rising price alone does not mean more demand, so look at volume and peers before drawing conclusions. Check live prices and the project's updates before acting.
