Crypto news today covers a new token burn schedule from the Astra Nova project. This crypto news report explains the announced details in plain words and shows where to verify them.

Astra Nova has announced that Phase 4 of The Forge is set for November 2, according to an update on its official X account. A total of 135,000,000 $RVV will be permanently removed from supply on that date.

The Astra Nova Burn Phase 4 is described as the fourth print of the Mega $RVV burn program, and the team says two phases will remain once it executes.
The update also says the next date will be shared after this burn is complete. That means no schedule for the following phase has been announced yet.

How the RVV Token Burn Works From Public Wallet to Burn Address

The update explains that tokens will move from the public wallet to a burn address. The transaction will then be published so anyone can check it on-chain.
This is the part that separates a verifiable burn from a simple promise, because the transfer can be traced by any reader with a block explorer.
A burn address is a wallet that nobody can spend from, which is why tokens sent there are treated as removed from circulation.
On-chain verification simply means the transfer is recorded on the public blockchain, where the sender, the receiver, and the amount are all visible.

What Phase 4 Means for RVV Supply and the Mega Burn Program

The Forge is the name the team uses for the program, and each phase is called a print. By a simple count, four phases done and two remaining point to a six-phase plan. The update does not state the total amount planned for the full program or a final supply target, so those numbers stay open for now.
Supply reduction and price are two separate topics. The update says nothing about market effects, and token prices depend on many outside factors. Readers who follow crypto news should keep the announced facts apart from price expectations.

How to Verify the Astra Nova Burn Phase 4 Transaction

Once November 2 passes, a few simple checks can confirm whether the burn matched the announcement:

Open the official channel again and note the date and the amount stated there.

Look for the transaction hash that the team says it will publish for verification.

Paste the hash into a block explorer for the chain that $RVV runs on.

Check that the sender is the public wallet, the receiver is a burn address, and the amount reads 135,000,000.

Project updates and links to the game are also listed on the Astra Nova website, which is a useful place to watch for the next announcement after the burn is complete.

Key Takeaways
