Launchpad

Argus Launchpad (@Arguspad, $ARGUS) has released an open-source package that lets AI agents work with its platform on the @arc mainnet. The package covers launching tokens, trading, claiming creator fees and locking tokens. It is an early developer preview.

The package runs on the user's own computer. It connects to AI assistants through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), a standard way for AI agents to use outside tools.

How the Argus agent package works

According to the project's GitHub repository, the package, named @argus-world/agent, is offered in three forms: an MCP server, a JSON command-line interface and an agent skill. A directory listing on Glama says it exposes 19 tools covering token launches, trades, creator fee claims, locks, project recovery and on-chain reads, plus optional shared asset tools.

Execution is split between several parties. Argus prepares and checks each action, then a @circle Agent Wallet signs and sends it. The creator's personal wallet keeps control of fees.

The documentation also lists some limits. Transactions spend real USDC on Arc mainnet, and there is no testnet mode. Each workspace has a cumulative USDC budget, set at 10 USDC by default and 100 USDC at most. The docs describe this as accounting inside the app, not a limit enforced by the wallet. Because the project has no indexer, it offers no market-wide search, trade history or analytics.

Arc and the push toward agent payments

The release comes as Circle positions Arc as infrastructure for software agents. In its mainnet announcement, Circle said Agent Stack gives developers and agents policy-controlled Agent Wallets, Nanopayments powered by Circle Gateway and an emerging Agent Marketplace. It also said Arc Portal lets people fund agent wallets, set spend limits and delegate onchain tasks.

Circle also said USDC accounts for 98.8% of agent-driven transaction volume. Arc uses USDC for gas, so an agent can operate with a single stable asset for both fees and payments.

The Argus package is an early example of a token launchpad built for agent use on the network. As a developer preview, it is aimed at builders, and the real-money, no-testnet design means users should review its limits before enabling execution.
