Managing money is becoming more flexible on the SFx Money App, with new features designed to help users save toward their goals, send and receive Espees, and split expenses with friends without the usual back-and-forth.
The latest updates introduce three exciting additions: Savings Mode, Espees transfers, and group expense sharing. They arrive shortly after SFx expanded its personal currency accounts with Ghanaian Cedis (GHS), Tanzanian Shillings (TZS), and UAE Dirhams (AED), bringing the total number of personal currency accounts available on the platform to seven.
From building better saving habits to making group outings less stressful, these updates bring more everyday financial activities into one app.

Saving Just Got More Intentional with Savings Mode

Ever planned to save for something important, only to find yourself spending the money on something else before you reach your goal? SFx’s new Savings Mode is designed to help users take a more intentional approach to saving.
The feature allows users to choose a savings goal, select an amount to save, and start putting money aside. Users can also lock their funds for a specified period, helping them stay committed to their plans rather than dipping into their savings whenever they feel tempted.
Whether you’re saving for an emergency, a personal purchase, a trip, or another financial goal, the idea is to give your money a purpose and help you stay focused on it. Getting started is straightforward: choose what you’re saving for, decide how much to set aside, and begin saving directly through the SFx app.
Instead of leaving your financial goals as something you hope to achieve someday, Savings Mode gives you a practical way to start working toward them. Your goals deserve a plan. Your savings deserve a purpose.

Espees Is Now Part of the SFx Experience

SFx has also introduced the ability to add and send Espees (a digital cryptocurrency launched in 2021 by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of Christ Embassy) through the app, expanding the range of digital money transactions available to users. For users who already interact with Espees, this addition provides another way to manage and transfer funds within their digital financial experience.
As digital payments continue to evolve, making it easier for users to access and move different forms of digital value is becoming increasingly important. By adding Espees functionality, SFx is expanding the options available to its users.
The feature adds another dimension to the platform’s growing financial ecosystem, alongside its personal currency accounts, stablecoin support, and other payment services.

Going Out with Friends? Make Splitting Bills Easier

Going out with friends should be about enjoying the moment, not figuring out who paid for the food, who still owes money for drinks, or how to split the bill at the end of the night. SFx’s new friends group feature aims to make sharing expenses easier.
Users can create a group on the SFx Money App and pool funds to cover shared expenses. Whether you’re planning a dinner, organising a weekend outing, or contributing toward household utilities, the feature provides a way to bring everyone’s contributions together.
Instead of juggling multiple conversations and trying to keep track of everyone’s payments, friends can use a shared group to make managing common expenses more convenient. It can also be useful for roommates sharing utility bills, friends planning trips, or groups organising activities that require everyone to contribute. The idea is simple: less time worrying about the money, more time enjoying the experience.

More Than Just Sending and Receiving Money

These new features reflect SFx Money App‘s broader approach to everyday finance. Managing money isn’t only about making transfers. It also means building savings habits, sharing expenses, and having convenient ways to move funds.
With Savings Mode, Espees functionality, and group expense sharing joining its growing range of services, SFx is expanding beyond basic payments to support more of the financial activities people handle every day.
Combined with its seven personal currency accounts- USD, EUR, GBP, NGN, GHS, TZS, and AED- the platform continues to give users more ways to manage their money in one place.
Save with purpose. Send with ease. Share expenses without the stress. With the SFx Money App, everyday money management is getting a little more connected — and a lot more convenient.
