According to the project, the following terms apply at launch:
<ul>
 <li>Leverage: 20x, which lets traders open positions larger than their deposit.</li>
 <li>Hours: open 24/7, 365 days a year.</li>
 <li>Price basis: the native INR (Indian rupee) level of the index, with no currency conversion.</li>
 <li>Settlement: gains and losses are cash-settled in <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/usdc-meaning-explained" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">USDC, a dollar stablecoin</a>.</li>
</ul>

The Nifty 50 is a free-float capitalization-weighted index of leading Indian equities. Each company’s weight reflects only the shares open to public trading.
Cash settlement means traders never receive shares. The position only tracks benchmark moves.
A long position gains when the benchmark rises, while a short position gains when it falls. <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-dictionary/funding-rate" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">A funding rate</a> keeps the contract price near the reference level. It is a periodic payment between long and short traders.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-why-nonstop-trading-differs-from-exchange-sessions-span-span">Why Nonstop Trading Differs From Exchange Sessions</h2>
Stock exchanges in India follow fixed sessions and close on weekends and holidays. The new product has no closing bell. Prices can move while the cash market stays shut.

The Nifty 50 perpetual futures market also changes how risk builds. A 20x position can turn a small price move into a large gain or loss. Traders should also check regional access rules first.
If losses exceed the margin, which is the deposit backing the position, the platform closes it. This process is called liquidation.

<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-where-the-launch-fits-in-the-hyperliquid-ecosystem-span-span">Where the Launch Fits in the Hyperliquid Ecosystem</h2>
Hyperliquid’s HIP-3 framework lets outside builders deploy their own markets, according to the<a href="https://hyperliquid.gitbook.io/hyperliquid-docs/hyperliquid-improvement-proposals-hips/hip-3-builder-deployed-perpetuals" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">project documentation</a>. HIP-3 stands for Hyperliquid Improvement Proposal 3. Trade.xyz builds on that framework.

<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/hyperliquid-decentralization-architecture-explained" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Hyperliquid is a decentralized exchange</a>, so trades settle on-chain rather than through a traditional broker. Users connect a wallet to place orders.

The Nifty 50 perpetual futures launch gives crypto traders a way to follow an Indian benchmark outside exchange hours. That is the clearest change from exchange-listed products.
Open questions remain. <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-blogs-details/crypto-liquidity-explained-key-to-smooth-trading" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Liquidity, meaning</a> how easily orders fill at stable prices, will shape trading quality. The official posts do not detail the data source or funding rules.

The Nifty 50 perpetual futures launch shows how on-chain venues now list products beyond crypto assets.&nbsp;
Published volume, funding data, and further project updates will show how adoption develops. Traders should verify terms on the official <a href="https://trade.xyz/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">trading page</a> before taking part.
