LayerZero is ending support for opBNB, and CAKE bridging out of that network through LayerZero stops on November 23 at 00:00 UTC.
PancakeSwap asks holders to bridge to BNB Chain before then. This crypto news report today sticks to what the official post says.

The @PancakeSwap update&nbsp;opens with a warning: action required for CAKE holders. It says LayerZero is ending support.<img alt="Action required for CAKE holders on opBNB" src="https://d3iuzwoiyg9qa8.cloudfront.net/webadmin/storage/public/commonEditerImage/jeqhB1bliLCCCwqn5hHTPrzPeoGylQVvPZkkA7YC.jpg" width="300" height="414" title="Action required for CAKE holders on opBNB">

Under that change, $CAKE bridging out of opBNB through LayerZero will stop on November 23 at 00:00 UTC.
The source repeats the point with the title "opBNB-CAKE-Bridge to Be Discontinued" and the line "Bridge out by Nov 23, 00:00 UTC."
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-family-verdana-geneva-span-style-font-size-16px-what-must-opbnb-cake-holders-do-before-the-deadline-span-span-span">What Must opBNB-CAKE Holders Do Before the Deadline?</h2>
PancakeSwap asks for one thing: move $CAKE off opBNB and onto BNB Chain before the cutoff.&nbsp;
BNB Chain is the only destination named. Bridging only relocates the tokens, so nothing is sold along the way.&nbsp;
What the post leaves out is the how. There are no steps, no fee figures and no list of wallets that work with the route.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-family-verdana-geneva-span-style-font-size-16px-how-much-time-is-left-span-span-span">How Much Time Is Left?</h2>
Counting from October 25, there are <a href="https://blog.pancakeswap.finance/articles/cake-bridging-on-opbnb-to-be-discontinued" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">29 days left (derived)</a>. That is the only timeline in the source, and it ends at 00:00 UTC on November 23.&nbsp;
Since that is the start of the day, November 22 is the last full day to bridge in UTC.&nbsp;
Anyone in another time zone should convert the cutoff first. The update also names no fallback route once this one closes.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-family-verdana-geneva-span-style-font-size-16px-does-this-affect-cake-trading-or-other-networks-span-span-span">Does This Affect $CAKE Trading or Other Networks?</h2>
The update contains just a single update: $CAKE bridging out of opBNB via LayerZero. No reference to $CAKE trading or price, or to other networks.
This is a single route, where the source title is "opBNB $CAKE Bridge. This PancakeSwap News item is more specific than a protocol change is why.
Readers following the<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-currency-news" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">latest crypto news</a> should avoid reading it as a wider shutdown. $CAKE on the BNB Chain and other networks is not discussed.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-family-verdana-geneva-span-style-font-size-16px-why-is-layerzero-ending-opbnb-support-span-span-span">Why Is LayerZero Ending opBNB-Support?</h2>
According to PancakeSwap, Layer-Zero will not continue to support opBNB offchain, which will no longer provide services to verify and deliver cross-chain transfers.&nbsp;
The announcement does not provide an explanation for the end of support nor mention other assets that might be affected.&nbsp;
This change affects only the LayerZero-based CAKE bridging route and not CAKE or the opBNB-network.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-family-verdana-geneva-span-style-font-size-16px-what-should-holders-verify-first-span-span-span">What Should Holders Verify First?</h2>
<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-news-english" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Crypto news</a> summaries cannot replace the official announcement, so holders should open PancakeSwap's update and confirm the destination network before sending anything.
The post links to full details, and those details should be read in full before any transfer starts.
Every link and address should come from PancakeSwap's own channels. Completing the move early leaves room for delays.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-family-verdana-geneva-span-style-font-size-16px-conclusion-span-span-span">Conclusion</h2>
PancakeSwap News today is a deadline, not a market event. LayerZero support for opBNB&nbsp;ends, and $CAKE bridging out stops on November 23 at 00:00 UTC. How smoothly holders move in time depends on guidance the post only links to.
