KuCoin listed the token Axis Robotics, trading under the ticker AXIS, on October 22, 2026, adding an AXIS and USDT trading pair built on the Base network to its platform. Unlike many tokens tied to artificial intelligence that focus on language models or chatbots, Axis Robotics positions itself around a different, more physical category of AI: generating and verifying the training data that robots need to learn how to move, manipulate objects, and interact with the real world.
The company describes its core product as a Compounding Data Engine for Physical AI, a system designed to produce and validate robotic training data through a distributed, global network of contributors rather than relying solely on data collected directly by a single robotics company. That approach mirrors a broader trend in AI development of using decentralized networks of contributors to generate specialized data that would be expensive or slow for any one company to collect on its own, applied here specifically to the robotics domain rather than text or image data.
KuCoin’s listing notice named several partners tied to the Axis Robotics ecosystem, including Booster Robotics, Dexmal AI, Manycore Tech, and automakers Geely Auto and Lotus Car, both of which have their own interests in robotics and automation as they expand into advanced manufacturing and autonomous vehicle technology. Additional ecosystem partners named in the announcement include Pi Network, BitRobot, OpenRoboto, and Kaito AI, suggesting Axis Robotics has built out a reasonably broad set of partnerships across both the robotics and crypto-native AI spaces ahead of its exchange listing.
The token’s contract address on Base, 0x5bE75e3b0aFf5D1A042A5363Ae36AcB1d6d755ea, was published alongside the listing so traders could independently verify it before interacting with the token. KuCoin structured the listing with deposits opening immediately on Base, a call auction running from 11:00 to 12:00 UTC on October 22, spot trading beginning at 12:00 UTC the same day, and withdrawals opening the following day, October 23, at 10:00 UTC, a staggered rollout schedule the exchange commonly uses for new listings to manage initial trading activity.
KuCoin also enabled AXIS and USDT for use with several of its automated trading bot tools, including Spot Grid, Infinity Grid, dollar-cost averaging, Smart Rebalance, Spot Martingale, and two AI-assisted grid bot variants, giving traders automated strategy options for the token beyond simple manual spot trading. The announcement, published on KuCoin’s official notice board, did not disclose the token’s total supply or initial circulating supply figures.
