UNI wallet creation reached 2,295 addresses in one day, its highest network growth reading since November 2022, Santiment said. The increase puts network activity near levels last seen four years ago, while UNI remains close to $7. Santiment linked the rise in participation to three factors:
Uniswap v4 features, liquidity routing and continued work on Unichain. The metric tracks new addresses that interact with UNI for the first time. It does not show how many people control those addresses or whether each will remain active. For traders, the wallet surge adds an adoption signal to the price levels in focus.

UNI Wallet Creation Reaches a Four-Year Network Growth Peak

The UNI wallet creation count marks the strongest daily increase since November 2022. Santiment defines network growth by counting addresses that interact with UNI for the first time. The figure measures fresh on-chain participation, not a direct count of new customers. One person may control several wallets, while some addresses may see little activity after their first interaction. The data shows a jump in first-time address activity, but cannot confirm lasting adoption by itself.

Santiment pointed to Uniswap v4 features, expanded liquidity routing and ongoing Unichain development as possible reasons for the increase. Together, these developments give users new ways to access the protocol and ecosystem. The post did not say which development contributed most, however. Nor does the one-day reading show that each new address arrived because of a specific product. The explanations remain plausible, while the increase in first-time addresses is the measured signal.
The next test is whether UNI wallet creation stays elevated. Santiment said readings above the recent baseline could strengthen the case for continued participation. If counts quickly fall back, the daily high may reflect short-term attention. Several days of elevated activity would offer stronger evidence that new addresses keep exploring UNI. Daily growth can fluctuate, so traders may seek follow-through before treating it as a lasting change.

UNI Price Levels Put $7 Support and $7.50 Reclaim in Focus

UNI’s price structure centers on $7.00 and $7.50. Santiment called $7 the key downside level and $7.50 the first meaningful reclaim. These levels frame the immediate question: can buyers defend support, then recover initial resistance? Wallet growth adds context, but neither the network metric nor these levels guarantees a move. Confirmation depends on price response and continued activity.
If UNI holds above $7 while new address growth stays above its recent baseline, Santiment said a renewed test of $8 would be favored. That scenario pairs price stability with continuing participation. A reclaim of $7.50 is the first level to watch before any move toward $8. A push through $7.50 would show buyers recovering ground, but one brief move would not establish a breakout. Follow-through in both price and UNI wallet creation would strengthen the recovery case.

If UNI falls below $7 as UNI wallet creation fades, Santiment said the spike could reflect short-term excitement rather than sustained adoption. If price slips under support while activity remains strong, the signals conflict. If activity fades but price holds, traders still need evidence that buyers will defend $7. Daily closes and new address counts may clarify which pattern is developing.
The two indicators answer different questions. Wallet counts show whether new addresses are beginning to interact with UNI, while price shows whether buyers are absorbing available supply. A rise in new addresses can coincide with a flat or falling token price when selling demand is stronger.
