Aster

Aspecta

Decentralised exchange @Aster_DEX has launched pre-market perpetual futures contracts for $PREDICT, the token of prediction market protocol @predictdotfun. The listing opens synthetic price discovery ahead of the protocol's token generation event (TGE).

The new market allows up to 5x leverage. That gives traders and funds a way to take a view on the value of the protocol before spot exchange listings begin.

What the Aster listing offers

Pre-market perpetuals are derivatives that track an expected price for a token that is not yet trading in the spot market. Because no spot price exists, the contract price reflects what market participants think the token will be worth at launch. Leverage amplifies both gains and losses, so positions carry a higher risk of liquidation than unleveraged trades.

The listing appeared on Aster's trading list on October 21. TechFlow reported that the page showed up to 5x leverage and that trading was expected to go live at 8 PM that evening.

Aster describes itself as a decentralised exchange. BitMEX Research notes that it was created through the merger of DeFi protocols Astherus and APX Finance in 2025 and supports perpetual contracts for stocks, commodities and forex settled in crypto.

Predict.fun and the token's path to launch

Predict.fun is a prediction market on BNB Chain where users trade the outcomes of real-world events. According to Bitrue's overview, users trade with USDT or USDC while earning DeFi yield on their collateral.

Interest in the token has built for several weeks. ChainCatcher reported that the project teased a token with a post reading "Soon" earlier this month. Coingabbar reported that a separate pre-market on Aspecta opened on October 9 at an $800 million fully diluted valuation (FDV). The same report said no TGE date had been confirmed at the time.

Pre-market prices are indicative and can diverge sharply from where a token trades once spot markets open. Traders should check the contract terms, funding mechanics and settlement rules on each venue before taking a position.
