Big wallets may be loading up on DOGE while most traders panic. One post claims whales bought about 600 million DOGE in just 48 hours, and the claim is spreading fast.
Does it mark a bottom? That is not confirmed. This Dogecoin Price Prediction checks the claim against liquidation data and the chart, then lists the levels that matter next.

Why is DOGE’s price up today?

The dogecoin price today is up 4% to $0.081834 in 24h, outperforming Bitcoin's +2.11% gain, primarily driven by a broad market rally fueled by institutional Bitcoin ETF inflows. The move shows Dogecoin's high-beta response to positive crypto sentiment, amplified by rising derivatives interest and meme coin sector rotation.

Primary reason: Beta-driven rally following Bitcoin's surge after U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded their largest single-day inflow in a month ($526.7 million on Oct 19).

Secondary reasons: Increased leveraged long positioning (open interest up 2.63% to $216.3M) and rotation into meme narratives, evidenced by social buzz around tokens like $DOPE.

The buzz surrounding Dogecoin at this time is about its efforts to reverse its fortunes after falling to lows. Below are the key sentiments regarding this:
An important trader points out an important resistance level that $DOGE needs to recapture to affirm its bullish reversal.
Market rotation towards alt coins creates a favorable environment for $DOGE’s recovery.
There is increased trading volume, pointing to renewed activity, but indicating a weak market.
DOGE News: DOGE Liquidation and Futures Volume
A liquidation happens when an exchange force-closes a leveraged trade because the trader can no longer cover losses. Long traders bet on a rise, and short traders bet on a fall. Coinglass shows these DOGE totals:

Over 24 hours, shorts lost slightly more than longs. The last 4 hours flipped, with longs taking nearly all of the $165.66K total. That points to a mixed market, and the sums are small for a coin of this size.
Coinglass also shows $DOGE futures volume by exchange. Binance leads at $348.59M, followed by OKX at $216.56M, MEXC at $90.26M, Bybit at $71.11M and BingX at $51.67M. The screenshot does not state the time window.

$DOGE slid from the $0.100005 area in late September and has now bounced off a low near $0.080000.
Price is currently testing the EMAs, which are acting as near-term resistance. The important thing is that if Price wants to continue its rally, it needs to clear them and hold the current support.

Bull case: A hold above $0.080000, then a daily close over the EMA zone near $0.085714, would show buyers regaining control, with $0.100005 as the next stop.
Bear case: A daily close below $0.080000 would weaken the whale-buying story and open a move toward $0.070031.

It is possible only in stages, and it would take a gain of roughly 83% from $0.081834.
$DOGE would need to hold $0.080000, clear the EMA zone and then pass $0.100005 and $0.120276 in order. The whale claim alone cannot carry that move, because it is unverified.

Dogecoin Price Prediction

According to CoinGabbar analysts, the picture is cautious: the price is below both EMAs, the liquidation data is mixed, and the whale claim has no proof attached. Watch whether $DOGE holds $0.080000 on the next pullback.
