Zerohash unveiled AUTH on October 19 at Money20/20 USA in Las Vegas. The product is designed to let users move crypto, stablecoins and tokenized securities without copying a wallet address or choosing a blockchain network.

A supported wallet or account appears as the destination. Users authenticate and approve the movement; Zerohash says AUTH manages routing and settlement behind the scenes. The company positioned the product as an alternative to the manual details that typically precede an onchain transfer.

Account selection instead of address entry

The new product is built around authenticated account choice. According to Zerohash’s developer documentation, a user selects a supported account or wallet, completes authentication—including multifactor authentication where it is required—and approves the transfer.

That sequence shifts two decisions away from the customer-facing transfer flow: entering a wallet address and selecting a chain. AUTH then handles routing and settlement in the background, according to the documentation. The approach is intended to make movements between connected accounts resemble an account-linking process rather than a conventional wallet-to-wallet transaction.

The distinction matters because the product is not presented simply as another wallet interface. Its role is to connect the accounts involved in a transfer and execute the underlying movement once the user has authenticated and approved it.

Connections and live platforms

Zerohash said AUTH supports more than 600 custodial and self-custodial connections, representing roughly 250 million users in more than 190 countries, and named Coinbase, Robinhood, Gemini, MetaMask and Phantom among supported platforms in its launch announcement.

CoinDesk reported that AUTH’s documentation listed 639 wallets and four exchange or brokerage accounts, with Coinbase, Robinhood and Gemini live and Kraken in beta. Zerohash’s more-than-600 figure is a broader count of custodial and self-custodial connections, while CoinDesk’s figures break out wallets and exchange or brokerage accounts. The counts and named platforms do not establish that every connection is live in every market or usable for every asset movement; account selection can replace address entry only when both sides of a movement are represented within the connected environment.

Crypto, stablecoins and tokenized securities

Zerohash said AUTH supports crypto, stablecoins and tokenized securities, while CoinDesk described tokenized securities as blockchain-based securities. Across those categories, users select a supported destination account or wallet, authenticate, approve the transaction and allow the system to route and settle the transfer.

The account-linking model could give integrating platforms a common transfer flow across custody arrangements, although the cited Zerohash materials do not specify which assets, account types or jurisdictions are available through each individual connection.

Ryan Beaudry to lead AUTH

Zerohash appointed Ryan Beaudry as general manager of AUTH. The company said Beaudry previously led open-finance product and operations at Mastercard, where he worked across nearly 100 million connected accounts and more than 10,000 applications.

The account-and-application linking behind Zerohash’s design is also the basis for AUTH’s onchain movements. Rather than manually supplying destination details, a user initiates activity through an authenticated connection, with a supported account or wallet standing in for a copied address and selected network. His prior work is relevant to that approach.

The launch places Zerohash’s more than 600 claimed connections at the centre of the product’s value proposition. As the live roster expands, the key test will be how broadly those authenticated choices can substitute for the address-and-network workflow that AUTH is designed to remove.
