The LayerZero Mainnet is scheduled for November 30, 2026, when the Zero blockchain and lzATLAS are due to go live. lzATLAS will be Zero’s first application.
Its Open ATLAS product is planned to support more than a dozen trading venues at launch. The bigger question is whether Zero can move beyond open markets and become useful trading infrastructure for institutions.

The LayerZero Mainnet now has a confirmed date, a first application, and an early market focus. The table below summarizes what LayerZero announced on October 21, 2026, including the current testing status.

Why Is LayerZero Launching Zero Mainnet on November 30?

LayerZero said the countdown has begun and that Zero mainnet and lzATLAS go live on November 30. The LayerZero Mainnet marks the move from preparation to a production rollout.
The company says trading venues are integrating trading infrastructure, testing order execution and settlement, and checking performance under real-world market conditions.
These are announced plans and ongoing tests. They are not independently verified results, and no outside audit of Zero’s performance has been published yet.

What Is lzATLAS? Open ATLAS to Support 12+ Trading Venues

lzATLAS is the first application planned for Zero. In plain terms, it is software that lets trading venues run their core market functions on one blockchain system. Those functions include order execution and settlement. Keeping them together could reduce the gaps that appear when separate systems must talk to each other.
The LayerZero Mainnet Launch begins with Open ATLAS, which it will support over a dozen trading venues. More venues are expected to follow this year. The announcement does not name any of them, so readers should not treat the figure as a list of confirmed partners.

From US Equities to Fixed Income: Why Institutions Are Testing Zero

The institutional parties are testing lzATLAS at the same time as the open markets rollout. The use cases range from US equities to fixed-income markets that trade and clear more than $1 trillion per day.
That figure describes the size of those markets. It is not the volume that lzATLAS has processed. Institutions care about this scale for practical reasons.
They need orders to execute reliably, trades to settle correctly, and new systems to work with the ones they already use. The LayerZero Mainnet focuses on open markets first, and LayerZero says that is only a small piece of what lzATLAS is built for.

How Zero Trading Infrastructure Will Be Tested Before Rollout

Venues are working through several stages before go-live. They are connecting their trading infrastructure, running order execution tests, checking settlement, and validating performance under real-world conditions. Each step helps a venue decide whether the system meets its operational needs before the LayerZero Mainnet arrives.
Summaries of the announcement also mention a target of 200,000 transactions per second and sub-millisecond latency. Those numbers are not in LayerZero’s own posts quoted here. Treat them as unverified targets until an official technical source confirms them.

October 21 is the latest confirmed update, and November 30 is the scheduled launch date. LayerZero says more news on partners and performance will come, but it has not given a date. The LayerZero Mainnet Launch timeline looks like this:

The LayerZero Mainnet is a real test of whether trading, clearing, and settlement can run well on a blockchain. Readers should watch four things: the November 30 go-live, the names of venue partners, measured execution and settlement performance, and proof of institutional adoption. Tests alone do not guarantee commercial success.
