Pepe

Wednesday's crypto news feed was a wall of red. Hot US inflation data sent Bitcoin below $80,000, and nearly $1 billion in leveraged bets were wiped out within a day, Crypto Times reported. By Friday, Bitcoin had climbed back to about $81,952 and the total market was up 2%, which left traders with one question. Who was buying while everyone else sold?

Part of the answer sits in Bitcoin's own on-chain data. The other part shows up in a much smaller name, Pepeto, a token not yet listed anywhere that kept drawing buyers right through the sell off and pushed its raise past $11.1 million.

Which crypto news report rattled traders this week?

The October 14 US inflation report was the biggest crypto news of the week. Prices rose 3.7% from a year earlier, hotter than expected, and traders sold on fears the Fed could raise rates again. Most of the forced sales hit traders betting on a rise, CoinGlass data shows.

Then the market showed its strength. Yahoo Finance noted that every daily open since last Friday has landed in an $81,000 to $83,000 band, so the floor never broke. When fear hits but the floor holds, buyers usually take the next round.

Pepeto: where fearless money kept flowing all week

Bitcoin and BNB play the long game, but the money that kept moving through this week's panic tells a faster story. Buyers handed Pepeto more than $11.1 million as prices swung hard, and money does not walk into fear like that without strong belief. It is an Ethereum token, the same chain Shiba Inu started on, still sold only through its presale and run by the same cofounder who pushed Pepe past $11 billion with nothing but a meme.

That belief is backed by tools that already work. Pepeto's scanner scores every coin on a 0 to 100 scale and test-runs a sale on a mirror of the chain before the trade goes through, so traps get stopped early, while its exchange charges nothing on every swap. From the first day, a trader can vet a coin and then trade it with no scam losses and no fees. A multi-chain bridge, a SolidProof audit, a developer with Binance experience on the team and a 161% yearly staking reward add to the case for holding before listing.

Buyers who stayed through the sell off see what analysts see. Tools that save real money win loyal daily users, and those users are the base under the 100x projection. On that math, $2,000 placed at the current stage would become $200,000 after listing.

When the expected Binance listing lands, this stage closes for good, and the buyers who kept stacking through the fear will already be in place, just as the whales were before Bitcoin's bounce.

Bitcoin (BTC) Price: Whales Defend $80,000 as $88,000 Comes Into View

CoinMarketCap puts Bitcoin at $81,952, and the most bullish crypto news of the week came from large holders who kept buying straight through the dip. FXStreet reported on October 15 that whales now keep 3.03 million BTC away from exchanges, the highest level since November 2025, citing CryptoQuant.

From our analysis, that stockpile forms solid support around $80,000. A daily close above $88,000 opens the next leg, most likely within the coming weeks.

BNB Price: Can Binance Coin Close October Near $750?

Yes, CoinDCX expects BNB to finish October around $750. CoinMarketCap shows it at $729.18, safely above $717 support, while Blockchain.News named $740 and then $749 as resistance on October 16.

From our view, that works out to a neat 3% for patient holders, solid for a chain already priced like a heavyweight.

Which name from this week's crypto news offers the fastest upside?

Pepeto offers the fastest upside of the names in this week's crypto news, and the week itself showed why. The buyers who stepped in during the panic were the whales stacking Bitcoin and the backers who pushed Pepeto past $11.1 million. Bitcoin and BNB are both set up to recover, but that path takes months and pays single digit percentages.

Pepe never shipped a product and still turned tiny stakes into fortunes in 2023. Pepeto shares that cofounder and already runs three live tools, giving every holder more working in their favor before trading even begins. The money that bought through this week's fear will be first in line when the expected Binance listing lands, and the current stage is the place to join it before the next price increase.

FAQs

What crypto news moved the market most this week?

The hot US inflation report was this week's top crypto news, briefly sinking Bitcoin below $80,000. Bitcoin bounced back to $81,952 by Friday.

Why did buyers keep pouring into Pepeto during the sell off?

Because they want in ahead of the expected Binance listing, which ends the presale. They added over $11.1 million while Bitcoin dipped below $80,000.
