XRP faces a potential death cross as its moving averages converge, raising concerns about further losses below $1.34 support.

Declining trading volume and an RSI near 40 indicate weak buying momentum, while $1.28 remains a critical downside level.

A recovery above $1.40 could weaken bearish pressure and open the path toward resistance levels at $1.45 and $1.55.

XRP faces mounting bearish pressure as its 50-day moving average approaches a crossover below the 200-day moving average. XRP trades near $1.34, with selling pressure threatening a breakdown below its key support level.

The potential death cross could influence market sentiment, particularly if XRP loses the support buyers have defended since August. Still, the indicator reflects previous price declines rather than guaranteeing additional losses. According to TradingView chart data, XRP’s 50-day moving average near $1.39 and its 200-day average around $1.38. A death cross occurs when the shorter average moves beneath the longer one.

XRP’s decline from approximately $1.66 in late September to $1.34 has narrowed the gap between these indicators. The crossover remains unconfirmed, making daily closing prices important for assessing the developing pattern.

Price action around $1.34 shows buyers attempting to prevent a sustained decline, with a recent lower wick near $1.28 indicating demand. The latest small green candle suggests buyers remain active, while XRP’s Relative Strength Index near 40 reflects bearish momentum without oversold conditions.

Trading volume has declined compared with August and September, suggesting weaker market participation and raising uncertainty about buying interest and selling pressure. A confirmed breakdown below $1.34 and $1.28 would expose XRP to further losses, with support near $1.25 and $1.15 to $1.20.

XRP Recovery Above $1.40 Could Weaken Death Cross Risk

Conversely, a daily close above $1.40 would place XRP above both moving averages, reducing immediate crossover concerns. Such a recovery could open the path toward $1.45, followed by resistance near $1.55.

A recovery would also require stronger trading volume to support the move and confirm improving demand. Without increased participation, buyers may struggle to maintain gains above resistance.

XRP remains below its major moving averages as buyers defend the $1.34 support level against further selling pressure. A sustained recovery above $1.40 could weaken crossover risks, while a breakdown below $1.28 would expose lower support levels.
