HTX has listed POLYMARKET/USDT and NIL/USDT perpetual futures, offering eligible traders access to both contracts with leverage of up to 20x, according to an announcement posted by HTX Global on X.

Two New USDT-Margined Perpetual Contracts Now Live on HTX

HTX added both POLYMARKET/USDT and NIL/USDT as perpetual futures pairs, settling in Tether (USDT). Perpetual futures carry no expiry date, meaning positions can be held indefinitely subject to funding rate payments between longs and shorts. For related coverage, see Pump.Fun Reports $5.8M Daily Selling Volume, $848M Total.

The NIL ticker corresponds to Nillion, a privacy-focused compute network. POLYMARKET is the on-chain prediction market protocol. Both contracts join HTX's existing derivatives suite, which has been expanding to include emerging-layer tokens alongside more established perpetuals. Traders seeking broader context on derivatives market conditions can reference the Crypto Derivatives Update: Funding, Open Interest & Liquidations | Sept 27, 2026 for current open interest and liquidation flow data.
Both contracts carry a maximum leverage of 20x.

The products are USDT-margined perpetual futures with no expiry date.

20x Maximum Leverage: What the Ceiling Means in Practice

The 20x figure is a stated ceiling, not a default position size. At 20x, a 5% adverse move against an undiversified position eliminates 100% of posted margin, making liquidation risk the primary variable traders must size against.

Actual available leverage at any given notional size depends on HTX's tiered margin structure for each contract; traders should confirm current tier limits directly on the exchange before placing orders. HTX recently listed OKX-style X-Perps with 10x leverage as competitors have also broadened their perpetuals catalogs in September 2026, and Payward is planning Hyperliquid perpetual futures for U.S. clients, signaling continued expansion in the leveraged derivatives segment.

Risk Parameters Traders Should Verify Before Entry

Perpetual futures with leverage above 10x carry elevated liquidation risk during periods of elevated funding rates or rapid spot price movement. Both POLYMARKET and NIL are lower-liquidity tokens relative to large-cap perpetuals, which typically translates to wider bid-ask spreads and sharper mark-price deviations during volatile sessions.

Traders should review HTX's published contract specifications for tick size, initial margin requirements, and maintenance margin thresholds before entering either contract. Leverage amplifies both gains and losses proportionally; a 20x position on NIL/USDT requires only a 5% adverse move in the mark price to trigger a liquidation event at the maximum leverage tier.
