Shiba Inu lead ambassador Shytoshi Kusama has not posted or interacted on X for 137 days, although he has edited his profile. His absence dates back to May 13, when he made his last reported post or interaction on the platform. Since then, changes to his biography and location field have given followers something to examine, but no explanation from Kusama.

Kusama’s Profile Edits Leave His Plans Unclear

Kusama changed his X location to “close,” replacing the earlier wording “backlog, Marketing and positioning.” He also reduced a longer biography about an AI app, a beta website, and final bug fixes to “Polish.”

Both edits suggest Kusama has accessed his account during his absence from public exchanges. However, the words offer no clear account of what he is working on or when he might speak again.
His previous biography referred to an AI app and a website nearing completion. The replacement does not confirm whether “Polish” describes that project, another undertaking, or work involving Shiba Inu.
Likewise, the word “close” provides no project name, release date, or detail that followers can check. Without a post from Kusama, community members cannot determine what he intended either profile change to convey.
His prolonged silence has made those small edits more noticeable to followers accustomed to watching his updates. Still, Kusama has not linked the changes to a SHIB announcement, a product launch, or a network development.

SHIB’s Potential Golden Cross Creates a Separate Point of Interest

Separately, Shiba Inu’s daily 50-day moving average is approaching its 200-day moving average. If the shorter-term average crosses above the longer-term measure, SHIB would form a golden cross on the daily chart.
Traders often interpret the pattern as a sign of improving momentum, although the crossover has yet to occur. Confirmation would mark SHIB’s first daily golden cross of 2026, making the developing chart pattern notable in its own right.
SHIB recorded its previous visible golden cross in November 2024 and reached $0.0000334 the following month. That sequence offers historical context, but it does not establish how the token would behave following another crossover.
Furthermore, the moving averages provide no evidence about Kusama’s plans or the meaning of his profile edits. The chart pattern and his absence remain separate developments, even as both attract attention within the SHIB community. Kusama’s profile has changed, but his 137-day silence leaves followers without a direct explanation of what those edits mean.
