Kusama’s last post and interaction on the platform occurred on May 13, making his absence notable for the community that closely follows his updates.

Kusama’s absence stirs community speculation

Although Kusama has not published any new posts on X during this period, he has been active in more subtle ways. He has updated both his bio and location on his X profile several times. These adjustments have offered only minor clues to his ongoing activities, fueling speculation among Shiba Inu supporters.

Most recently, Kusama changed his location on X to “close,” after previous mentions of “backlog, Marketing and positioning.” His bio, which once read “Pure focus: AI App/site: ROS Finishing touches: Beta website complete. Final bug pass,” now simply displays the word “Polish.”

As Shiba Inu’s lead ambassador, Kusama has played a central role in guiding public communication for the project. Shiba Inu, known for its strong online community and meme-driven appeal, continues to generate interest in both its ecosystem updates and price action.

Kusama’s prolonged inactivity has heightened anticipation within the SHIB community, with many watching closely for any sign of a return, especially as previous updates from Kusama have stirred strong reactions.

Technical indicators suggest bullish momentum

Meanwhile, technical analysis points to a new milestone for SHIB. Shiba Inu is approaching its first major golden cross of 2026, a bullish signal that occurs when a short-term moving average crosses above a long-term one. The daily MA 50 (50-day moving average) is currently rising and is close to surpassing the daily MA 200 (200-day moving average).

If this cross is confirmed, it would be Shiba Inu’s first such event in 2026, reinforcing bullish expectations among traders and investors. The last time SHIB achieved a golden cross was in November 2024, which was then followed by a rally to a high of $0.0000334 in December 2024.

Following the previous golden cross, Shiba Inu encountered a series of new trading signals, eventually experiencing death cross patterns, which typically signal downward trends. The project has seen varying price momentum since, but interest has remained strong due to continued innovation and active community engagement.

Kusama’s absence and the anticipation surrounding SHIB’s approaching golden cross have contributed to heightened speculation within the community, with many expecting notable developments as the year progresses.

As October approaches, members of the SHIB community remain vigilant for any sign that Kusama will break his silence or that the golden cross will confirm a new market narrative for the token.
