Quant Network’s QNT token has climbed sharply, trading above $100 as the project highlights new advancements in institutional finance, particularly through its focus on tokenized deposits and programmable banking solutions.

New whitepaper and institutional progress

Quant has released a new whitepaper titled “Above the Ledger,” which explores how traditional banks can leverage tokenized deposits beyond the realm of digital currency. The document discusses a framework that enables banks to develop programmable financial instruments, integrating newer banking models into established systems.

The whitepaper outlines the functions that banks might perform as tokenized deposit systems become operational. Tokenization, according to the report, enables banks to maintain a direct connection between the purpose of a transaction and the actual transfer of money, accounts, and clearing mechanisms.

The paper emphasizes that the Quant system can distinguish between the actual transfer of funds and the intention driving each transaction. Ledger entries record the amount, sender, receiver, and timestamp, while commercial commands may incorporate details such as authorization, terms, deadlines, and intended outcomes. This adds a new dimension to programmable money, shaping the backbone of next-generation banking infrastructure.

Global projects and early adoption

Quant’s recent achievements include selection by The Clearing House for the US On-Chain Money Initiative, ongoing customer trades on the GBTD platform in the UK, a joint initiative among six Canadian banks, and the Commercial Bank Money Token project in Germany. Collectively, these projects signal increasing institutional interest in tokenized solutions and on-chain settlements.

The GBTD platform in the UK has emerged as an early real-world case, moving beyond the testing phase. Quant stated that seven banks have executed live trades using its platform. Meanwhile, The Clearing House confirmed Quant would supply interoperability, orchestration, and transaction management for its upcoming network, connecting to major payment systems such as RTP and CHIPS. Launch is projected for mid-2027.

Quant’s whitepaper highlights, “Tokenized deposits enable banks to maintain a clear link between economic purpose and the movement of funds, while programmability allows commercial banks to craft tailored solutions as part of modern financial infrastructure.”

Amid this wave of institutional progress, QNT’s price action has reflected renewed optimism. The token closed at $98.64 on September 25, hit an intra-day high of $104.24, and surged to $120 on September 26—a 22% jump in just 24 hours. Over the previous week, QNT’s value jumped more than 50% from its September 19 close at $65.66.

Technical levels and market pattern

The $120 price range has now emerged as an important psychological resistance following the sharp rally. According to the latest analysis by More Crypto Online, QNT’s current structure indicates a wave 3 extension after its recent breakout. A key pullback support zone is positioned between $85.71 and $104.50. Analysts note that no clear local bottom has been established, leaving a relatively wide area for price movement as QNT attempts to stay above $100.

If QNT maintains its strength and the ongoing pattern persists, the next resistance lies between $135 and $140. However, technical indicators alone offer no guarantees regarding the project’s upward potential. The market will look to see whether the recent momentum can sustain QNT above these important levels.

Alongside these technical patterns, the importance of tracking market sentiment and investor behavior is becoming more pronounced across the digital asset sector. In the meme token market, for example, internet trends and rapid investor action can transform modest stakes into substantial returns within days. Fomo App reported that one trade in “Niu Lai” turned a $99 investment into about $370,000, illustrating such volatility. For both investors and traders, monitoring not only prices but also entry timing and token selection remains essential. Fomo App’s platform combines token discovery, live investor rankings, social feeds, and real-time trading notifications, offering users a comprehensive view of the meme token landscape.

With Quant maintaining momentum in both institutional outreach and product development, markets remain focused on whether QNT can solidify its position above the $100 mark amid ongoing sector innovation.
