The news was published on September 23, 2026. Together, the infiniFi token launch and funding update mark a new stage for a project that says it has already earned more yield than it has raised.

The DeFi protocol has closed a seed round of more than $3 million, according to a press release published on September 23, 2026. Electric Capital led the round. New Form Capital, Generative Ventures, Fasanara, 2Square, 4th Revolution Capital, DCFGod and The Rollup also took part.
The raise lifts total funding from seed and pre-seed rounds above $6 million. For readers tracking the token launch and funding timeline, the key milestone is the token generation event (TGE), which the team has confirmed for the fourth quarter of 2026.

Electric Capital also led infiniFi's earlier round. In February 2025, the project completed an oversubscribed $3 million pre-seed raise when it emerged from stealth. The new seed round follows the same pattern, with the same lead investor returning.

How infiniFi Is Building a Banking Model on Blockchain

The protocol is built on a simple idea. Traditional banks put depositors' money into assets with different durations to earn returns, but they keep most of the upside. infiniFi automates a similar process on-chain and aims to pass more of the economics back to depositors.
The team says the goal is to bring the capital efficiency of fractional reserve banking on-chain without the opacity that comes with traditional banks. What began as a thesis in 2025 is now a live protocol with real users and deposits.

Over $9M Generates in Yield as TVL Reaches New Highs

The DeFi protocol launched in June 2025. Since then, the company says it has generated over $9 million in yield for users. Total value locked (TVL) reached an all-time high of $180 million.
The release also cites TVL of $50 million or more. These figures come from the company itself, and the gap suggests deposits have moved since the peak. Readers should treat the numbers as company-reported and check live dashboards for current data.
The company highlights that its generated yield now exceeds the more than $6 million it has raised from outside investors.

infiniFi Expands Across Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base and Katana

infiniFi now operates on Ethereum (ETH), Arbitrum, Katana and Base, with more networks planned. Its partners and integrations include Ethena, Pendle, Morpho, Aave, Fasanara, FalconX, Accountable, Steakhouse Financial, Silo, Curve and Euler.
The new capital is earmarked for further integrations and multichain expansion, so the network list may grow as the protocol heads toward its token event.

infiniFi Prime Targets Institutional and Consumer Finance Users

The next product is infiniFi Prime. According to the company, it will bring diversified, institutionally managed private credit into Earn accounts offered through neobanks and consumer financial apps.
This would extend the protocol beyond crypto-native users and make on-chain returns available to people who never touch a Crypto wallet. CEO and founder Rob Montgomery said the project aims to become a leading path for off-chain money seeking higher returns and more transparency. Prime is still described as forthcoming, so these are stated plans, not delivered results.

infiniFi Token Generation Event Confirmed for Q4 2026

The company has confirmed the TGE for the fourth quarter of 2026. The supplied information does not include an exact date, exchange listings, token price, airdrop details, or claim steps. Those details have not been announced, and readers should wait for official infiniFi channels before acting on any rumor.
The new funding is set to support:

Protocol development

New integrations

Multichain expansion

Product rollout, including Prime

Preparation for the Q4 2026 TGE

What the infiniFi Funding Round Means for Its Next Phase

The seed round gives fresh capital as it prepares for its next stage. Total funding now stands above $6 million; the protocol reports more than $9 million in yield, and Prime signals a move toward mainstream financial distribution.
The next clear checkpoint is the TGE in Q4 2026. Anyone following the infiniFi token launch and funding story should watch for official announcements on dates and details. Nothing in the release addresses token price, valuation, or investor returns, and this article makes no predictions about them.
