For most of DeFi’s history, traders have faced a trade-off: keep custody of your funds and accept clunky execution, or hand your assets to a centralized exchange and get professional trading experience. ApeX Omni, the flagship platform of ApeX Protocol, was built to remove that choice. It pairs an orderbook engine capable of up to 10,000 transactions per second with full self-custody, and it now covers markets that most exchanges, centralized or not, don’t touch: perpetual futures on US stocks and ETFs, commodities, and real-world event outcomes alongside its core crypto perpetuals, over 120 perpetual markets in all.

A DEX That Trades Like a CEX

ApeX Omni is a non-custodial decentralized exchange powered by zkLink X, offering a comprehensive suite of trading products designed to empower users of all levels. Traders connect a wallet (or simply register with an email address), deposit from Ethereum, BNB Chain, Base, Arbitrum, or Mantle, and trade on a central limit orderbook rather than an AMM curve. Zero-knowledge proofs secure settlement, and users retain control of their assets throughout. The underlying zkLink X infrastructure is fully audited, with reports publicly available.

The headline numbers hold up against centralized venues. Crypto perpetuals run up to 100x leverage on majors such as BTC-USDT and ETH-USDT, with maker fees of 0.02% and taker fees of 0.05%. Those are the standard rates, not the floor: the VIP program grants progressive fee discounts based on either 14-day trading volume or staked APEX holdings, meaning traders qualify through activity or through commitment to the ecosystem, with top tiers unlocking up to 0% fees and rebates. There are no gas fees on trades, and the matching engine supports market, limit, and conditional order types. Accounts are cross-margined with multi-collateral support: alongside USDT, traders can post USDC, WBTC, WETH, ETH, cmETH, mETH, cbBTC, or USDe as collateral within a single account.

That combination has found an audience. Per platform data, ApeX Omni has processed more than $1.2 trillion in cumulative perpetual trading volume and now counts over 660,000 registered traders, with 40,000 to 60,000 of them active in a typical month.

Wall Street, On-Chain and Around the Clock

The platform’s most distinctive product is TradFi Perpetuals: USDT-settled perpetual futures on traditional markets, traded entirely on-chain. The lineup spans major US equities (Apple, NVIDIA, Tesla, Microsoft, Meta, Coinbase, and more), index ETFs such as SPY and QQQ, commodities including gold, silver, and crude oil, and IPO names like SpaceX. Leverage runs up to 50x, and most pairs trade 24 hours a day, five days a week, with selected pairs available around the clock, well beyond traditional exchange hours. Demand has been immediate: TradFi perpetuals have turned over more than $13.8 billion in trading volume since launch.

Pricing comes from Chainlink’s decentralized TradFi oracle feeds, which aggregate quotes from multiple institutional data providers to produce a manipulation-resistant reference price. Risk is deliberately compartmentalized: TradFi positions are margined and liquidated in a separate account from crypto perpetuals, so volatility in one market can never cascade into the other.

Prediction Markets and Hands-Off Strategies

Beyond directional trading, ApeX Omni hosts prediction markets covering politics, sports, crypto, and other real-world events, powered by integrations with Polymarket. Thousands of markets are live at any given time, and positions carry no liquidation risk: the amount committed is the maximum exposure.

The recently launched Event product strips this down even further. Event positions carry no trading fees at entry or settlement, no funding fees, and no leverage or margin requirements, and the payout rate for a correct prediction is displayed before the position is confirmed. It is the platform’s simplest instrument: commit an amount, see the potential payout upfront, and settle at the outcome.

For traders who prefer automation, a built-in Grid Bot executes range-bound strategies by laddering buy and sell orders at preset intervals. ApeX Vaults extend this further: community vaults let experienced traders manage external capital for a share of profits, while protocol vaults offer yields backed by the platform’s own liquidation-fee revenue.

Lowering the Barrier to Entry

ApeX Omni has invested heavily in making self-custodial trading feel routine. New users can sign up with just an email address, or connect one of nearly 20 supported wallets, from MetaMask and Trust Wallet to Phantom and Ledger Live. Fiat deposits are supported directly on the platform via Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Charting is powered by TradingView, the industry standard trusted by 100 million traders and investors, bringing the full toolkit of indicators, drawing tools, and chart types that active traders expect.

The APEX token ties the ecosystem together. Stakers earn weekly rewards funded by a buyback mechanism introduced in February 2025, under which a portion of platform fee revenue is used to purchase APEX from the open market. The program has repurchased more than 16.5 million APEX to date, and staking distributions have totaled over 3 million USDC and 1.9 million APEX. Staked APEX also counts toward VIP tier qualification, so the same tokens that earn yield cut trading costs at the same time.

About ApeX Protocol

ApeX Protocol is a decentralized, non-custodial trading platform for perpetual derivatives, incubated by Davion Labs. ApeX Omni is the protocol’s flagship platform, consolidating crypto perpetuals, TradFi perpetuals, prediction markets, and yield products into a single multi-chain interface. Its mission is straightforward: deliver the speed and depth of a centralized exchange without asking traders to give up custody of their assets.
