<h2 id="dollar-pricing-token-burning">Dollar pricing, token burning</h2><p>Render Network (<a href="https://x.com/rendernetwork" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">@rendernetwork</a>) connects artists and AI developers with idle GPU capacity, but it prices that capacity in dollars rather than in its native token. When a creator submits a job, they convert cash into RENDER, the network's Solana-based token (solana:rndrizKT3MK1iimdxRdWabcF7Zg7AR5T4nud4EkHBof). <cite>Rendering jobs are quoted in fiat, converted to RENDER at the time of payment, and burned after completion.</cite> In return, the creator receives Render Credits worth the same dollar amount, keeping the cost to the buyer predictable regardless of where the token price moves on any given day.</p><p>Because the burn is calculated in dollar terms, <cite>jobs are priced in USD and creators burn RENDER tokens equal to the work's dollar cost, which shrinks supply.</cite> When the token price rises, fewer tokens are needed to cover the same bill. When it falls, more are burned. The quantity of tokens destroyed therefore floats with the market, but the dollar cost to the buyer stays fixed.</p><h2 id="how-operators-get-paid-and-what-governs-new-supply">How operators get paid and what governs new supply</h2><p>Every burn is recorded on-chain, and that record determines how the newly minted reward pool is divided.
