Additionally, both organizations are considering potential collaboration on other event contract segments including sports, economic indicators, and financial market outcomes on a non-exclusive foundation.</p><p>The agreement remains pending finalization, with both parties anticipating completion of detailed terms within the upcoming weeks.</p><h3 id="gemini-s-journey-into-prediction-markets">Gemini’s Journey Into Prediction Markets</h3><p><a href="https://coincentral.com/gemini-gemi-stock-falls-in-premarket-after-q2-loss-as-analysts-see-upside/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Gemini</a> made its entrance into prediction markets during December 2025 after Gemini Titan secured Designated Contract Market authorization from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. By April 2026, Gemini Olympus, another subsidiary, obtained Derivatives Clearing Organization approval from the CFTC, enabling the company to manage derivatives clearing and settlement operations internally.</p><p>The platform has processed over 225 million event contracts since inception, attracting more than 27,000 individual traders. However, competitors like Polymarket and Kalshi continue to lead the prediction market sector with monthly trading volumes reaching into the tens of billions.</p><p>Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, Gemini’s co-founders, have positioned prediction markets as fundamental to their strategic vision.
