$PURR is trading near $0.1333, up roughly 49% on the day, sitting just under its support zone turned resistance at $0.178. The base case for the next 30 days points toward a retest of $0.17 to $0.28 if buyers hold above $0.095, while a rejection at current levels risks a pullback toward $0.076. The immediate invalidation level for the bullish structure sits at $0.0576, the low of the recent range.&nbsp;
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-why-purr-is-moving-today-a-fully-written-purr-price-prediction-span-span">Why PURR Is Moving Today: A Fully Written PURR Price Prediction</h2>
A PURR <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/price-prediction" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">price prediction</a> written today has to start with one fact: this isn't a random pump. It's a reaction to a specific political headline about Hyperliquid's US access.
Turns out, when a sitting president name-checks a crypto exchange, traders don't wait around.
They buy first and ask questions later. Whales noticed first. Retail followed within hours, and volume told the rest of the story.
Is this rally built on fundamentals or on a single tweet-driven headline? That question matters more than any single price target.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-live-data-snapshot-purr-price-volume-and-market-cap-right-now-span-span">Live Data Snapshot: PURR Price, Volume and Market Cap Right Now</h2>
As of 09:15 UTC on August 24, 2026, $PURR trades at $0.1333, up 49.09% over 24 hours according to CoinMarketCap.
Market cap sits at $79.41M with a fully diluted valuation of $133.39M. Trading volume over 24 hours hit $22.52M, up 290.15%, giving a volume-to-market-cap ratio of 27.58%.
The circulating supply is 595.34M PURR against a 1B max supply. The 24-hour range ran from $0.086 low to $0.157 high, well above the token's all-time low of $0.04048 set in December 2025. <h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-why-is-purr-price-pumping-today-the-trump-hyperliquid-catalyst-span-span">Why Is $PURR Price Pumping Today: The Trump Hyperliquid Catalyst</h2>
On August 20, Trump said CFTC Chair Michael Selig is working to bring Hyperliquid into the US "in a fully compliant and legal fashion." That single line moved markets fast.<img alt="the original catalyst thread on X" src="https://d3iuzwoiyg9qa8.cloudfront.net/webadmin/storage/public/commonEditerImage/OG6hzGfMMBW4VZLPC3LWklNz7faj0HEZg3xGnFfT.jpg" width="300" title="the original catalyst thread on X">
$HYPE jumped 17 to 20%. $PURR ran over 30%. Hyperliquid-linked ETFs added roughly 20%, and one reported $65K PURR call trade turned into near $111K in unrealized gains, per the<a href="https://x.com/HYPERDailyTK/status/2090279223487586673?s=20" style="font-size: 16px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255)" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">original catalyst thread on X</a>.
That's not approval; it's an exploration signal, but markets priced it like a green light anyway. The next real catalyst is whatever Selig says next, and until then, this remains headline-driven momentum, not a demand curve shift.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-purr-daily-chart-analysis-falling-wedge-breakout-and-key-levels-span-span">$PURR Daily Chart Analysis: Falling Wedge Breakout and Key Levels</h2>
The daily <a href="https://in.tradingview.com/chart/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">chart on TradingView</a>, and the first thing that stood out was a clean falling wedge breakout after months of sideways trades between $0.058 and $0.093.<img alt="PURR Daily Chart Analysis" src="https://d3iuzwoiyg9qa8.cloudfront.net/webadmin/storage/public/commonEditerImage/CeYNu7K76SH7AzDomb3nlIrvijUbqxKKxfY5gczZ.jpg" width="300" title="PURR Daily Chart Analysis">
Price broke the wedge's upper trendline and pushed straight into the $0.1571 intraday high before pulling back to trade near $0.133. The support and resistance structure now looks layered: immediate support sits at $0.0955, deeper support at $0.0408, and resistance stacked at $0.178, then the Fibonacci extension zone near $0.282, and a stretch target near $0.420.
RSI on the daily reads 69.92, close to overbought but not extreme yet. Bullish momentum is real, but it's stretched.
The Bollinger Bands tell a similar story. The 20-period basis line sits near $0.0804, with the upper band at $0.1289 and the lower band at $0.0319, and $PURR is now trading above the upper band. Basically, that's a volatility expansion signature, pushing prices outside their normal range on a surge in trading volume. Bands this wide apart usually mean one of two things: continuation if buyers keep absorbing supply or a sharp mean-reversion snap back toward the baseline near $0.08 if momentum fades.&nbsp;
Liquidation data backs the squeeze story. Coinglass shows $36.95K in 24-hour liquidations, and $33.46K of that came from short trades getting wiped out, not longs. That's a classic short squeeze signature, and you can watch the live feed on<a href="https://www.coinglass.com/currencies/PURR" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Coinglass PURR liquidation data</a>.&nbsp;
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-purr-tokenomics-and-whale-concentration-a-memecoin-risk-check-span-span">PURR Tokenomics and Whale Concentration: A Memecoin Risk Check</h2>
$PURR carries memecoin energy inside a serious perps ecosystem, and that combination cuts both ways.<img alt="PURR Tokenomics and Whale Concentration" src="https://d3iuzwoiyg9qa8.cloudfront.net/webadmin/storage/public/commonEditerImage/PMCYZKpURHvi1GwvYIwiW3VUYCsM6kpEXqcMmyhx.jpg" width="300" title="PURR Tokenomics and Whale Concentration">
Total supply is capped at 1B, with 595.34M already circulating. Two wallets alone hold over 27% combined, one tied to the token's non-circulating balance and one flagged as a burn-style address. This PURR price prediction table leans base-case constructive as long as the wedge breakout holds. A full year-ahead $PURR monthly price forecast would need fresh CFTC commentary to justify the bull column, and that hasn't landed yet.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-what-could-invalidate-the-purr-bullish-thesis-span-span">What Could Invalidate the PURR Bullish Thesis</h2>
Breaking: liquidity can flip fast on headline-driven coins.
If Selig walks back the "fully compliant" framing, or the CFTC timeline drags into next year, expect a sharp unwind. Watch $0.0955 first, then $0.0576.
Regulatory drag is a real risk here too, and traders comparing this to the<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-currency-news/clarity-act-news-today-white-house-crypto-meeting-odds-fall" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">CLARITY Act news today</a> will notice a pattern: political comments move price faster than actual policy does. A shift in<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-currency-news/fed-meeting-news-federal-reserve-chair-kevin-warsh-fomc" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Fed meeting rate news</a> could also drain risk appetite from small caps like $PURR broadly.
Exchange-listing risk cuts the other way. A confirmed US listing pathway, tracked through<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-exchange-listing" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">crypto exchange listing news</a>, would likely extend this move rather than kill it.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-conclusion-where-this-purr-price-prediction-lands-span-span">Conclusion: Where This $PURR Price Prediction Lands</h2>
Basically, PURR's rally is real, but it's political, not organic.
The base case favors a grind toward $0.178 to $0.282 if support at $0.095 holds and a bear case unwinds toward $0.076 if it doesn't. We'd rather call this what it is: a headline-driven short squeeze with a genuine catalyst underneath it, not a confirmed trend reversal.
Keep an eye on the<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/coin-events-calendar" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">coin events calendar</a> for the next CFTC update, since that's the trigger either direction depends on.
