Crypto airdrops in week 35: the deadlines running right now

Updated August 30, 2026: the arithmetic 30-day window of GRVT's first tranche closed on August 29 – GRVT itself never published that date as a deadline. Further tranches follow over twelve months, each with its own 30-day clock; the only figure that counts is the expiry shown in the Reward Portal. At Propr the TGE remains unconfirmed on August 30 as well, and the tokenomics page is still offline. All other deadlines were checked against their sources and stand unchanged.

The most pressing deadline of this week appeared in no announcement text; it simply ran out quietly. At GRVT every unlocked tranche expires 30 days after it is unlocked, with no replacement. The first tranche was unlocked at the token launch on July 30, 2026 – by that arithmetic its window closed around August 29, 2026 and has been over since August 30. Anyone expecting a later tranche still has time: the distribution runs over twelve months, and every further unlock starts its own 30-day clock. The second date has passed as well: the token generation event Propr announced for August 24, 2026 remains unconfirmed – more on that below.

This overview lists the airdrops that either have a claim window open this week or a date fixed within the next 14 days. Every figure comes from the source linked with it. Where a project has published no end date, that is stated explicitly – there are no estimated deadlines here. Last week's status is in our piece on the airdrops of week 34.

1. GRVT: the first tranche's window has closed by arithmetic

The derivatives exchange GRVT held its token generation event on July 30, 2026; the allocation check and the claim opened the same day. A total of 280 million GRVT is being distributed, 100 million from season 1 and 180 million from season 2.

The point that sets this airdrop apart from almost every other one sits in the project's help centre, and today it is the most important line in this whole article: the distribution runs in tranches over twelve months, and each unlocked tranche has a 30-day claim window. Once it passes, the tranche is gone for good. The project puts it without a back door: exceptions are not possible.

Anyone who registered before July 17, 2026 and set a destination chain receives each tranche automatically and needs to do nothing. Everyone else has to claim manually through the Reward Portal at every unlock – and that is exactly where forfeited allocations come from. Registration itself is closed; the project gives July 27, 2026, 00:00 UTC as the cutoff. Anyone who missed it is not part of the distribution, according to the project.

One qualification belongs with this, and it matters all the more now: GRVT has never published August 29, 2026 as a deadline itself. That date follows from the published 30-day rule and the TGE date. So do not rely on the arithmetic – neither on your tranche still being open, nor on it already being forfeited. The only figure that counts is the expiry the Reward Portal shows for your tranche. And put the following unlocks in the calendar straight away: after the first tranche, more follow over twelve months, each with its own 30-day clock. GRVT had published no date for the second unlock as of August 30, 2026.

Source: GRVT Help Center – „How to Receive and Manage Your $GRVT Airdrop“

2. Propr (PROPR): date passed, launch unconfirmed

Something has changed here since this overview was published. Propr, an onchain prop trading platform on Hyperliquid, had dated its token generation event to August 24, 2026 in its own tokenomics proposal – phrased as an intention, not as an irrevocably fixed date. That date has passed. As of the renewed check on August 30, 2026, there is still no confirmation from the project that the TGE took place.

The plan is a fixed supply of one billion PROPR, of which 20 percent goes to the genesis airdrop, fully unlocked at the TGE. Points for it were collected by buying trading challenges, where one dollar spent equalled ten points – regardless of whether the challenge was passed. Propr is built by the XBorg team; a further share is earmarked for stakers of the XBG token.

Three qualifications belong with this. First, Propr never published the concrete claim mechanics or any claim deadline. The date and the split were known, nothing beyond that. Second, all investor rounds, the airdrop and the liquidity unlock simultaneously at launch – that means considerable selling pressure on the first trading day. Third, and this is new: the tokenomics page that carried the date is no longer reachable. Calling propr.xyz/proposal still lands on the homepage as of August 30, 2026, and that page mentions neither a token nor a TGE nor a claim portal.

What that means – and what it explicitly does not mean: Propr has published no cancellation, and no postponement either. All that can be evidenced is that the announced date has come and gone and the source that carried it has disappeared. Anyone waiting on this distribution should take their status exclusively from the project's official channels – not from aggregator sites that still list August 24 as an accomplished fact.

Which leads to the question that comes up at any such launch: freshly listed low-cap tokens are among the most volatile assets in the market, prices can drop by double digits within minutes, and a total loss is possible. Anyone who wants not just to watch such tokens but to trade them on the move will not get far with pure charting tools like Dexscreener or TradingView – those display, they do not trade. One mobile alternative is the app FOMO Family, which lets you discover, swipe through and trade meme and low-cap tokens directly in the app with fast deposits. Download the app through the link and secure yourself ten percent off trading fees. No tool changes the fact that this environment stays high risk.

Source: Propr – tokenomics proposal (propr.xyz/proposal). The page was no longer reachable when checked on August 25 and again on August 30, 2026, and redirects to the homepage; the figures above reflect the last successful check.

3. Grass: stage 2 rewards until January 22, 2027

The deadline with the largest buffer – and the most solid figure in the whole field. The Solana project Grass has been paying out its stage 2 rewards since July 22, 2026, 1:00 PM EST; the claim runs through the dashboard at app.grass.io. The deadline ends on January 22, 2027; unclaimed amounts are retained by Grass according to its own documentation.

Two details are easy to miss. Payment is not made in GRASS tokens but in USDC. And the eligibility period is tightly drawn: it covers epoch 1 to epoch 19 of stage 2, meaning the period from October 14, 2024 to June 8, 2026. Anyone who collected network points in that window is eligible in principle.

Source: Grass – „Understanding the Stage 2 Rewards Allocation“

4. Midnight (NIGHT): thawing until December 4, 2026

At the Cardano-adjacent privacy project Midnight, the thawing phase of the NIGHT token has been running since December 10, 2025 and ends on December 4, 2026, followed by a grace period of 90 days. Payout comes in four equal tranches of 25 percent each at intervals of 90 days; the first was distributed at random between December 10, 2025 and early March 2026.

The claim itself is closed to latecomers: the Glacier Drop window ran from August 5 to October 20, 2025, the Scavenger Mine from October 30 to November 19, 2025. The announced lost-and-found phase for around 252 million unclaimed NIGHT still has no date. Details on the distribution are in our piece on the Cardano Midnight airdrop and the NIGHT distribution.

Source: Midnight – „Guide to the NIGHT token launch and Redemption“

Running, but with no published end date

Two claims remain open, and both are missing exactly the figure you would set your calendar by. That is no reason to relax but a reason to bring the claim forward: a window whose end nobody knows cannot be planned for in time either.

Plume (season 2): registration ran from April 29 to May 27, 2026, and required at least 10,000 Plume Points by the March 31, 2026 cutoff. The claim has been running since late May 2026. Plume names no end date in its own announcement, neither to the day nor as a period; industry reports speak of around three months, which is a third-party figure. The project's blog, which returned only a server error last week, is reachable again as of August 25, 2026 – it still contains no post stating a season 2 claim deadline.

dappOS (DOS): the token launched on August 10, 2026 with the TGE, and phase 2 has been running since August 11, 2026. dappOS has announced a phase 3 but without a date, and no end date has been published for any of the phases so far. The only official route is the claim portal at dappos.com. Where DOS trades is shown in our crypto exchange comparison.

Expired since last week

The claim for the DGAI token from DGrid has been closed since August 22, 2026, 8:00 UTC; claiming is no longer possible. Anyone who had not chosen a staking plan by then had their allocation moved automatically into the 360-day plan, according to the project – so the allocation is not lost outright, but it is locked for a year. DGrid still has not named a listing date.

What is deliberately missing this week

Four candidates with plenty of attention did not make the list. The reason differs in each case, and each one is worth as much as an entry:

TermMax (TMX): aggregators and secondary reports circulate a TGE on August 25, 2026. It cannot be documented at the project source: the most recent post on the TermMax blog dates from May 27, 2026, and the documentation on the token pre-mine gives no calendar date at all, only „day 1 of the mainnet launch“ and a claim „after the TGE“. No project evidence, no entry.

Ethos Network (WHUF): the September 1, 2026 date is real, but it is not an airdrop. Ethos is auctioning 20 percent of supply in an English auction; that is a sale in which readers commit their own money, not a claim.

ARC (Circle): the public mainnet launches on September 16, 2026. A token generation event has no date, and a community or airdrop allocation has not been confirmed to this day. A mainnet launch is not a distribution date.

AVANT: the TGE was postponed to mid-September 2026. „Mid-September“ is not a date, and the timing would fall outside this edition's 14-day window anyway.

Plus the standing rule of this format: projects listed as „live“ on aggregator sites that name neither a snapshot nor a claim window at the project source do not get in. „Airdrop confirmed, date open“ is not a deadline.

What to watch on every claim

Airdrops are the preferred hunting ground for wallet drainers, and the patterns repeat:

Always open the claim page through the official project domain, never through links from direct messages, comments or search ads.

No legitimate airdrop asks for your seed phrase or your private key.

Check which permission you are granting before you sign. An unlimited token approval is not necessary for a claim.

Weigh the network fee against the value of the allocation. On small amounts, claiming can cost more than it returns.

Put every deadline in the calendar – with staggered distributions like GRVT's, every single tranche, not just the first.

Think about tax straight away

An airdrop is not by definition a tax-free gift. Whether an allocation counts as taxable income depends above all on whether you provided something in return. With this week's campaigns that is not a marginal question: anyone who collected points through purchased trading challenges or through trading volume stands differently from someone who received an allocation without doing anything.

So secure the timestamp, quantity, market value, price source, transaction hash and the terms of participation right at the moment of claiming – the terms in particular tend to disappear first once a campaign page is taken down. An overview of further campaigns is available in our section on crypto airdrops.

Conclusion

The one deadline that genuinely pressed this week has passed: at GRVT every tranche expires 30 days after it is unlocked, and the window of the first tranche from July 30 closed by arithmetic on August 29. A missed window is irreversible. Anyone who registered after July 17 has to claim every further tranche manually – and should look up the actual date in the Reward Portal rather than trusting the arithmetic. At Propr, the launch announced for August 24 has remained unconfirmed, and the source that carried it is offline. Grass and Midnight leave real room with January 22, 2027 and December 4, 2026. Plume and dappOS lack a published end date, which argues for claiming promptly rather than against it.

And the sobering part: most allocations sit in the two- to three-figure range, the fee for claiming eats a noticeable share of that, and a substantial proportion of all allocated tokens is never claimed at all. The effort pays off mainly where you are already eligible.
