<p>In our last <a href="https://captainaltcoin.com/heres-where-cardano-ada-price-could-go-this-week/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">ADA weekly prediction</a>, we said the Cardano price needed to hold $0.190 and reclaim $0.200 to keep buyers in control, with a break above $0.211 opening the door to $0.220. That bullish setup never arrived.&nbsp;</p><p>Instead, ADA broke below $0.190 and fell to around $0.177, putting the bearish scenario of $0.180 and then $0.170 into play. The $0.190–$0.210 range also failed to contain the price, showing that buyers could not maintain the recovery.&nbsp;</p><p>Now, with the ADA price at $0.1769 after a 1.90% daily decline, the question is whether this weakness can continue or if <a class="wpil_keyword_link" href="https://captainaltcoin.com/cardano-ada-price-prediction/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Cardano</a> can mount another recovery this week. The chart and network developments offer three possible paths.</p><h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="low-volume-keeps-the-ada-price-under-pressure">Low Volume Keeps the ADA Price Under Pressure</h2><p>The ADA price is dealing with weak participation. Trading volume dried up. In the last day, it fell 39% down to $112 million. That is way under the average we have seen over the past week.</p><p>Here is why that matters: ADA is stuck below its 7-day average price of $0.1848. That tells you the short-term mood is negative.</p><p>If buyers want to take charge, two things have to happen. First, volume has to climb back over $200 million. Second, the price has to get back above that $0.1848 line. Without both, the sellers are still running the show.</p><p>The August 7 withdrawal of <a href="https://captainaltcoin.com/crypto-market-recap-cardanos-cto-departs-grayscale-pulls-etf-apps-and-hedge-funds-turn-bullish/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Grayscale’s Cardano Trust ETF</a> registration also leaves the market without a fresh institutional-demand catalyst.</p><p>There are, however, developments that could help sentiment. The ADA price climbed from roughly $0.155 in late July to above $0.200 in early August, but the move was rejected near $0.207. A move above it would give buyers room to test $0.190, the level that failed during the latest decline. Above $0.190, $0.200 becomes the next major hurdle, followed by the previous resistance around $0.207–$0.211.</p><p>Momentum also favors caution. The RSI tells a clear story. It dropped from over 60 in early August to 46 now. That’s a big fall. But here is the catch: it is not oversold yet. The average sits at 59. So, we are still below that. This leaves the door open for more drops. Sellers haven’t run out of steam.</p><p>Now look at the Ultimate Oscillator. It is at 33.59. A month ago, it was above 50. That is a steep drop. The only good news? It is still above 25. That 25 mark is where things usually get really stretched. We are not there. So, the market doesn’t look tired. It looks like it has more room to fall.</p><p>For the Cardano price to turn around, we need to see these numbers climb first. A recovery toward $0.1848–$0.190 followed by another rejection would fit this scenario.</p><p>The bearish path becomes more likely if $0.170 fails. That would expose $0.165 and then $0.160, extending the decline from the August high near $0.207.
