According to Santiment, the ranking tracks the percentage increase in transactions exceeding $100,000 over seven days among projects with market capitalizations of at least $100 million. Large transfers can indicate growing activity from whales, institutions, or other well-capitalized market participants.

Humanity Protocol (H)

Humanity Protocol (H) leads the ranking with a 500% increase in whale transactions exceeding $100,000. The token was priced at approximately $0.081839 in Santiment’s dataset, with a market capitalization of about $159.22 million and seven-day trading volume of $4.16 million.

Humanity Protocol operates within the blockchain infrastructure and smart-contract segments. Its substantial increase in large transactions makes H the strongest whale-activity riser among the ten projects examined, although higher whale participation does not necessarily indicate sustained buying pressure.

Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC)

Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC) on Optimism recorded a 440% increase in whale transactions, placing it second. Santiment’s chart showed WBTC trading around $63,929.59, with the tracked version carrying approximately $7.44 billion in market capitalization and $127.33 million in volume.

WBTC provides tokenized exposure to Bitcoin while allowing holders to interact with blockchain applications outside Bitcoin’s native network. Its presence on Optimism can provide access to decentralized finance applications while retaining price exposure to BTC.

The sharp increase in $100,000-plus transfers suggests significantly greater large-holder activity during the measured seven-day period.

Maker (MKR)

Maker (MKR) registered a 400% increase in whale transactions, tying it with TrueUSD for the third-highest percentage rise. MKR was priced around $1,387.77, while Santiment listed its market capitalization at approximately $1.17 billion.

Maker is associated with decentralized finance and lending infrastructure, giving MKR a different investment profile from payment-focused or meme-based cryptocurrencies. The increase in large transactions indicates that high-value transfers involving MKR expanded considerably during the week.

However, whale transaction growth can reflect accumulation, distribution, transfers between wallets, or other large-scale activity, making broader market conditions important for interpreting the metric.

TrueUSD (TUSD)

TrueUSD (TUSD) on Ethereum also recorded a 400% increase in transactions valued above $100,000. TUSD traded near $0.99664 in Santiment’s data, with a market capitalization of approximately $492.85 million and volume of $16.92 million.

Unlike most cryptocurrencies on the ranking, TUSD is a stablecoin designed to maintain a value close to the U.S. dollar. Consequently, rising whale activity does not carry the same price implications that may apply to non-stablecoin assets.

Large TUSD transfers can instead reflect capital movements, liquidity management, trading activity, or positioning across cryptocurrency platforms.

SPX6900 (SPX)

SPX6900 (SPX) recorded a 237.5% increase in whale transactions, making it the fifth-largest riser. The token traded at approximately $0.309658, with a market capitalization of around $288.28 million and seven-day volume of $6.33 million.

Santiment classifies SPX within the Ethereum and memecoin market segments. Its combination of rising large-holder transactions and comparatively smaller market capitalization could contribute to greater price sensitivity when substantial amounts of capital enter or leave the market.

This makes whale activity particularly important to monitor because large transactions can represent a meaningful proportion of liquidity in smaller cryptocurrency markets.

SwissBorg (BORG)

SwissBorg (BORG) posted a 200% increase in whale transactions worth at least $100,000. Santiment’s figures placed BORG at approximately $0.148356, supported by a market capitalization of about $145.72 million.

The project is categorized within Ethereum and financial services, giving BORG exposure to blockchain-based financial infrastructure. Its whale-transaction increase places it among the strongest weekly risers despite having one of the smaller market capitalizations represented in the ranking.

Large-holder activity can potentially create stronger market reactions in assets with thinner liquidity, making trading volume and subsequent price behavior important metrics alongside whale transactions.

Rocket Pool ETH (RETH)

Rocket Pool ETH (RETH) also recorded a 200% weekly increase in $100,000-plus transactions. RETH traded at approximately $2,189.34, while its market capitalization stood near $706.59 million.

RETH represents exposure to Ethereum liquid staking through the Rocket Pool ecosystem. Liquid staking allows cryptocurrency holders to participate in staking while retaining a token that can potentially be used elsewhere within decentralized finance.

The increase in large transfers indicates greater whale-level activity surrounding the asset, placing RETH alongside SwissBorg despite their substantially different blockchain use cases.

Worldcoin (WLD)

Worldcoin (WLD) on Optimism registered a 123.08% increase in whale transactions. Santiment’s chart placed WLD around $0.333217, with approximately $1.19 billion in market capitalization and $250.19 million in trading volume.

Worldcoin is associated with digital identity and verification infrastructure, distinguishing its investment narrative from decentralized finance and payment-focused cryptocurrencies.

The combination of relatively high trading volume and rising whale transfers indicates stronger activity from large market participants. However, whether those transactions represent accumulation or distribution requires additional on-chain and exchange-flow data.

Cronos (CRO)

Cronos (CRO) recorded a 122.22% increase in whale transactions, placing ninth among the projects tracked. CRO traded near $0.047202, with a market capitalization of approximately $2.23 billion and volume of $4.9 million.

CRO supports the Cronos blockchain ecosystem and is used across several blockchain-based financial applications. Despite possessing one of the larger market capitalizations on the list, its weekly whale activity increased by more than 120%.

The divergence between relatively modest trading volume and rising large transactions could make subsequent activity worth monitoring for changes in liquidity and market participation.

Ethereum Name Service (ENS)

Ethereum Name Service (ENS) completes the ranking with a 116.67% increase in whale transactions exceeding $100,000. ENS was priced around $4.20, carrying a market capitalization of approximately $172.39 million and trading volume of $7.17 million.

Ethereum Name Service provides decentralized naming infrastructure for Ethereum, allowing complex blockchain addresses to be represented through more readable names.

Although ENS recorded the smallest percentage increase among the ten cryptocurrencies, whale transactions still more than doubled over the seven-day measurement period, indicating a meaningful expansion in large-transfer activity.

Conclusion

Humanity Protocol, Wrapped Bitcoin, Maker, TrueUSD, SPX6900, SwissBorg, Rocket Pool ETH, Worldcoin, Cronos, and Ethereum Name Service recorded the largest weekly percentage increases in $100,000-plus whale transactions within Santiment’s ranking.

Humanity Protocol led with a 500% increase, followed by WBTC at 440%, while Maker and TrueUSD each recorded 400% increases. SPX posted a 237.5% rise, with the remaining five projects registering increases ranging from 116.67% to 200%.

Santiment noted that non-stablecoin assets appearing on the list could be more likely to experience particularly high price volatility. However, an increase in whale transactions alone does not establish whether large holders are buying or selling.

Investors evaluating these cryptocurrencies should therefore consider whale activity alongside price trends, exchange flows, liquidity, trading volume, market capitalization, and broader project fundamentals.
