LAB confirmed on X that its token unlock is now live. Eligible users can claim rewards starting this morning. Claims actually opened at 1 AM UTC, giving early holders first access. The team also posted reminders to use only official claim links, warning against scams. That fresh unlock is creating immediate sell pressure, as recipients cash out right away.

Squid (QUID)

Squid slide 13.85% to $0.07080. Market cap dropped to $10.13 million. Volume fell 43.32% to $58.23 million, a notable pullback in activity.

The drop lines up with a market-wide shift to Fear. The CMC Fear and Greed Index shows traders pulling back across the board. Capital is rotating away from smaller, riskier altcoins like Squid. There's no clear coin-specific news behind the move. Falling volume also points to weak buying interest right now, rather than a rush to sell. Read Squid price prediction for more.

Bitcoin Cash (BCH)

Bitcoin Cash fell 3.91% to $206.29. Market cap slipped to $4.14 billion. Volume rose 24.81% to $176.85 million.

The drop followed a technical breakdown below key support. Heavy selling volume confirmed the move was real. Broad altcoin weakness added extra pressure across the board. Layer 1 token market cap fell 0.4% today too. Trading volume for that category dropped 15.93% on CoinMarketCap. That wider pullback explains BCH's underperformance versus a flat market.

CoinGabbar Analysis

Line up the top crypto gainers and losers today, and the split makes sense. Gainers moved on concrete product news and time-limited hype. Losers mostly fell on sentiment and one big token unlock. LAB's drop shows how a claim event can flip a token overnight. Squid and Bitcoin Cash both fell alongside a broader risk-off mood. That's worth remembering whenever you check crypto news today. AKEDO's huge volume spike is also worth watching, since giveaway-driven rallies often cool off fast.

Conclusion

That wraps today's cryptocurrency gainers and losers. Save this crypto gainers and losers list for tomorrow. Keep an eye on the crypto market today, since a Fear reading like this can shift fast. Watch AKEDO's giveaway deadline too, since that kind of hype tends to fade once it ends.
