Something is pulling ACU out of nowhere this week, and this Acurast <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/price-prediction" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">price prediction</a> is not built on the chart alone. A quiet compute network built on phones just landed in the middle of an AI agent story and a community moment happening at the same time, and traders noticed before most headlines caught up. What comes next is not as obvious as the candle makes it look.&nbsp;
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-key-takeaways-span-span">Key Takeaways</h2>
<ul>
 <li>ACU is up over 40% in 24 hours on AI-agent news plus a macro risk-on shift.</li>
 <li>The 4H chart shows a confirmed ascending triangle breakout with RSI overbought.</li>
 <li>Immediate support sits near $0.0945; resistance clusters near $0.1463 and $0.16.</li>
 <li>Whale wallets hold over 93% of top-tier supply, a real concentration risk.</li>
 <li>Base case points to consolidation between $0.12 and $0.15 over the next month.</li>
</ul>
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-a-coin-powered-by-phones-is-suddenly-everyones-topic-span-span">A Coin Powered By Phones Is Suddenly Everyones Topic</h2>
Acurast price prediction talk is spreading fast today, and it did not start with a random pump. It started with a decentralized compute network that runs on phones, not server farms.
That detail matters more than it sounds. And it is why this move feels different from a normal altcoin spike.
Here is the thing: most rallies get explained after the fact, and this one lines up with wider<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/ai/crypto-news" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">AI crypto coverage</a> this week too.
So what actually pushed Acurast into the spotlight, and does the setup hold up once you look past the green candle?
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-where-does-acurast-price-stand-right-now-span-span">Where Does Acurast Price Stand Right Now</h2>
As of the latest snapshot, captured around 04:30 UTC on August 13, 2026, ACU trades near $0.1325, up roughly 40.9% over 24 hours, according to<a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/acurast/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">live spot pricing</a>. Market cap sits close to $28.76M against a circulating supply of 217M ACU out of a fixed 1B total supply.
Volume came in near $6.11M, a Vol/Mkt Cap ratio above 20%, telling us traders, not just holders, are active right now. Liquidity against market cap is thinner, near 4.84%.
ACU is still off its all-time high of $0.3365 from January 2026, but it has more than doubled from its June low. For the full market backdrop,<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-news-english" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">latest crypto news</a> covers how altcoins traded overnight.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-why-is-acurast-price-moving-today-span-span">Why Is Acurast Price Moving Today</h2>
Two things collided. First, a risk-on shift after a softer US CPI print eased Fed rate-hike fears, a shift also flagged in recent<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-currency-news/fed-meeting-news-federal-reserve-chair-kevin-warsh-fomc" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Fed rate decision</a> coverage.<img alt="Official Post on X Account" src="https://d3iuzwoiyg9qa8.cloudfront.net/webadmin/storage/public/commonEditerImage/40XDwJ1ntHdzcKq95DsAhKQWChG9NBB840sGDl7Y.jpg" width="300" title="Official Post on X Account">
Second, Acurast confirmed that Nous Research's Hermes model can now run as an autonomous agent on its network, deployed through OpenRouter and Acurasts Cargo Linux runtime,<a href="https://x.com/Acurast/status/2087457824620065226?s=20" style="font-size: 16px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255)" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">detailed in the project update</a>.
That is not filler news. An agent that keeps working after you close your browser is a real utility pitch.
Add a live AMA with the Korean crypto community, worth checking against the<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/coin-events-calendar" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">coin events calendar</a>, and attention hit all at once. Coincidence rarely trades this cleanly.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-acurast-technical-analysis-4-hourchart-span-span">Acurast Technical Analysis: 4-hour&nbsp;Chart&nbsp;</h2>
On the 4H chart, ACU broke a clean ascending triangle built since early August, per<a href="https://in.tradingview.com/chart/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">chart annotations on TradingView</a>. Price cleared the $0.10 flat-top resistance and printed a vertical candle into the $0.13 zone.<img alt="Acurast Technical Analysis: 4-hour Chart " src="https://d3iuzwoiyg9qa8.cloudfront.net/webadmin/storage/public/commonEditerImage/xqtzd4jOJRWtRP7RlbRPsGUo2Dzjv0mWaKzBssS6.jpg" width="300" title="Acurast Technical Analysis: 4-hour Chart ">
RSI sits at 81.48, well into overbought territory, with the RSI-based moving average trailing near 60. That gap usually cools off before it keeps climbing.
Immediate support sits at $0.0945, with a deeper shelf at $0.0821 if momentum fades. Fibonacci extensions from the triangle point to $0.1463, then $0.1600, and then $0.1781 as the next resistance levels.
Basically, the structure is bullish but stretched. A pullback to $0.0945 would not break the trend; it would just reset it.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-acurast-tokenomics-and-whale-concentration-span-span">Acurast Tokenomics and Whale Concentration</h2>
Turns out, ownership is heavily concentrated. On-chain data from<a href="https://etherscan.io/token/0x216b3643ff8b7bb30d8a48e9f1bd550126202add" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">wallet distribution tracking</a> shows the top 10 holders control roughly 87% of the supply, and whales alone over 93%.<img alt="Acurast Tokenomics and Whale Concentration" src="https://d3iuzwoiyg9qa8.cloudfront.net/webadmin/storage/public/commonEditerImage/YcTLCsl99QaBIg6TnvvD0SRp1ed1hZwe5BUTpXeS.jpg" width="300" title="Acurast Tokenomics and Whale Concentration">
Some of that is exchange or treasury wallets, not pure sellers. But FDV near $132.57M against a $28.76M market cap still signals dilution ahead, worth watching against any fresh<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-exchange-listing" style="font-size: 16px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255)" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">exchange listing pipeline</a> news.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-is-acurast-positioned-like-a-breakout-altcoin-span-span">Is Acurast Positioned Like A Breakout Altcoin</h2>
Acurast behaves like a classic altcoin: high beta, news-reactive, and thin enough that volume spikes move price fast. Shorts got squeezed harder than longs over the past day, per<a href="https://www.coinglass.com/currencies/ACU" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">derivatives flow tracking</a>, matching a fast upside move.
Sentiment across<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/memecoin/crypto-news" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">memecoin and altcoin news</a> leaned risk-on this week too, and that helped ACU ride the wave.

Invalidation for the bullish case sits below $0.0945 on a 4H close. Lose that, and the triangle breakout is effectively negated, a setup that echoes how most short-term<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/price-prediction/bitcoin-price-prediction-2026" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bitcoin price prediction</a> models frame invalidation too.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-key-risks-span-span">Key Risks</h2>
Whale concentration is the biggest single risk; a few wallets could unwind fast gains just as quickly as they arrived. Liquidity stays thin relative to market cap, so slippage on larger orders can bite.
RSI near 81 means a cooldown candle would not be surprising even if the trend holds. Broader policy shifts, like the ongoing<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-currency-news/clarity-act-news-trump-grayscale-strategy-back-bill-senate-vote" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Clarity Act developments</a>, can also swing altcoin sentiment fast. None of this is financial advice; every level above is a scenario, not a guarantee.
Broader market direction still matters here, and this setup is worth revisiting once the next candle closes.
