The Grass Airdrop Season 2 claims are officially live, and the timing coincides with two other major developments: the launch of the in-app Wallet and the start of USDC rewards distribution. Together, these updates mark one of the biggest weeks yet for the ecosystem.
Alongside the excitement, price has slipped following the announcement, with traders reacting to both the news and a wave of newly claimed tokens entering circulation. Still, the bigger story for most users is simply that the Grass airdrop claim window is open, and it won't stay open forever.
Anyone who contributed bandwidth or earned Network Points during the eligibility period should take note: the deadline is fixed, and unclaimed rewards will be forfeited once the window closes.

Grass Stage 2 Rewards Claim Is Now Live

According to the official announcement, Stage 2 Rewards claims opened on 22 July 2026, marking the season 2 claims that many contributors had been waiting for. The S2 covers an eligibility period running from October 2024 through June 2026, meaning contributions made during this window determine each user's payout.
Rewards are calculated based on Network Points and the volume of bandwidth shared with the network, with payouts issued directly in USDC. This is a notable shift from earlier distribution methods and reflects Grass's push toward simpler, more accessible reward systems.
The Airdrop End Date — also serving as the final Grass Airdrop deadline — is set for 20 January 2027. After this date, any unclaimed allocations will no longer be recoverable, so users are encouraged to check their eligibility well before then.

Grass Wallet Launch Makes Claiming Rewards Easier

Timed closely with the launch, it has also introduced its in-app, non-custodial wallet. Every account now includes a wallet automatically, removing the need to download a separate app or manage a seed phrase just to get started.
Setup happens in the background, and the wallet is secured through a passkey (such as Face ID or fingerprint) or email OTP rather than complex recovery phrases upfront. Users retain full control and can export their private key at any time.
The wallet also integrates with MoonPay, letting users convert and withdraw funds directly to a debit account, Venmo, or PayPal. Core wallet features include:

Holding digital assets

Sending and receiving GRASS and other tokens

Swapping assets

Staking

Withdrawing funds via MoonPay

How to Claim Season 2 Rewards

For anyone using the Grass Airdrop checker to confirm eligibility, the process is straightforward:

Log into the official Dashboard

Open the Allocation page to review your rewards

Confirm your claim

Receive your USDC allocation directly in your Wallets

A small network fee is deducted to cover on-chain transaction costs, though the token does not retain this fee itself. Importantly, users should only ever claim through the official Dashboard. It will never DM users first and will never ask for a seed phrase or private keys — any message claiming otherwise should be treated as a scam.

Why Is the GRASS Price Falling Today?

On 28 July 2026 at 9:15 AM UTC, the Grass coin price has come under pressure. It is currently trading at $0.3257, down 6.45% over the last 24 hours, with a market cap of roughly $79.44M and 24-hour trading volume near $15M.
The price movement appears tied to profit-taking as newly claimed USDC rewards prompt some recipients to sell holdings, adding fresh selling pressure and increasing circulating supply. Some technical analysts are watching key support levels for a possible rebound, though no outcome can be guaranteed.

Community Reaction to Rewards

Reaction has been mixed. On the positive side, many users have praised the simplified wallet experience, easier onboarding, and the removal of crypto complexity from the claiming process.
On the negative side, some contributors have criticized reward sizes as lower than expected relative to electricity and internet costs, and others have questioned the timing of staking features alongside the wallet launch.
Note: These reactions reflect community opinions shared on social media and are not verified facts.

Grass Tokenomics and Why They Matter

The network maintains a fixed total supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens, with 300,000,000 allocated to the community across future incentives, router rewards, and the initial airdrop. The remaining supply supports foundation and ecosystem growth, early investors, and core contributors under multi-year vesting schedules. This structure is designed to sustain long-term network growth rather than reward only short-term participation.

Conclusion

The Grass Airdrop 2026 cycle has entered an important new phase. Claims are live, the new wallet simplifies participation, and users should act before the claim deadline passes. Always claim through the official Dashboard only. Despite mixed community feedback and short-term price weakness, this update represents a meaningful milestone for the ecosystem.
