Odos, a prominent decentralized finance (DeFi) aggregator, has announced plans to terminate its services by July 30, 2026. The decision, shared via a social media platform, signifies the impending conclusion of all Odos operations as the platform transitions to a read-only mode, allowing users to prepare for the closure.

How Will the Shutdown Unfold?

The shutdown process is scheduled to unfold in three stages. By July 23, token swaps and position closures will remain available for existing users, though new accounts and wallets can no longer be registered. This limits the platform’s functionality to its current user base.

From July 27, the site will shift to read-only mode, providing users access to transaction histories and wallet balances—however, no trading activities will occur during this phase.

What Will Happen to User Assets?

Odos urged users with social or email login-created wallets to transfer assets or export private keys by July 30 to maintain access after the shutdown. Instructions for managing these transitions will be available on Odos’ website to assist with asset management post-closure.

All users should complete any asset transfers or export private keys before July 30. Wallets created via social or email login may require extra steps, and Odos will leave instructions available for those who need help managing access after the shutdown.

Continuing Elements: Tokens and DAO?

While Odos will no longer offer services, the ODOS token will persist independently on the blockchain, unaffected by the company’s cessation. Furthermore, the Odos DAO, responsible for protocol governance, will continue its operations separately from the company.

Odos has proactively warned its community about potential scams during this period. There will be no new product releases, token migrations, or airdrops as part of this shutdown.

Users need to export private keys by July 30 to secure assets.

Communication from the Odos DAO will remain the official channel for any future updates.

All existing functionalities to cease by July 30, with no development plans in the pipeline.

As the deadline approaches, Odos extends gratitude to its community, underscoring the collaborations that marked its operational years. This closure aligns with a noticeable trend among DeFi platforms wrapping up services in the year 2026. Users with holdings on the platform are advised to take essential steps before the end of July to avoid disruptions in accessing their assets.
